2 pointsNo formal training. Been in family business and helped at friends restaurants. I learned very early from my mom and when you can pull off a Thanksgiving feast for 10 to 20 people, its awesome. I was going to go to culinary school, but I knew to make it big, you really have to get lucky and or put in a shiiiit ton of odd hours of work. I really love to cook and yes, I have F'd up plenty. I am lucky that working from home, I can prep a little during lunch so that making dinner is easier. I try to eat well at least 1 solid meal. Meal prep isnt easy, and I cook for myself, making it harder.

1 pointI have to sell one of mine to fund a rangefinder. This is gold plated and appears to be unfired except for factory testing. 98% condition. It does have a safe mark on the stock as pictured. Also has lost some of it's finish on but plate. [I have another one that's almost identical. this seems to be from the factory plastic that it was wrapped in.] Factory trigger is crisp and clean at 3 lbs. 3 oz. Located in flagstaff, willing to meet in Prescott/Cordes Jct. area. As you can see in the last Pic. I seem to have an affliction! $950 or $900 if we meet in Flagstaff! 1 pointThe murder was not on the k4 ranch it was directly west of K4 about 2 miles. It was a ranch hand that murdered somebody at the big house just past the ranger station along walnut creek. I think it was the owner of the house that was murdered.

1 pointThe future of hunting. "What happened to hunting? I moved here ten years ago to get away and drive my side by side 70 mph down dirt roads and I can't shoot anything off the side of the road anymore.. and the local native born guys are rude and my vagina hurts because of it.

1 pointDoesn't sound like a fun time for anyone. As others have stated, my family learned to avoid public land camping and boating on holiday weekends like we avoid bar hopping on New Years Eve. Too many "non-professionals" take on those activities then.

1 pointI was up north a couple weeks ago put'n around and I was amazed how little water were in most of the tanks. After this past winter's moisture, I thought they would hold water longer than they have. A couple were already mudholes. The week before the 4th of July weekend I was camped along east fork of black river. Hardly a cloud in the sky the entire time we were there. Normally, by then we are getting a few afternoon showers. I am hoping this is just going to be a late monsoon and not a nearly non-existent monsoon. By the way, the howling of wolves woke us up every morning. First time I have ever heard them, and I was surprised how long they would carry on, which was 15-20 minutes straight. I have seen them before but never heard them.

1 pointNWS here in Flag said it’s not looking promising. Funny how everyone said an early monsoon. Lol It’s just proof NO ONE really knows what the weather will do. They said dry winter and we got slammed with snow and now July looks like it will fizzle out.

1 pointThis was never about race or color. Yes I'm white but I come from a very diverse family. There is just about every color or race in the family somewhere. Dad married a Mexican so did my brother . One married a pilipeno then a white woman then a Mexican. Step bro and sis are half white / Mexican . Aunt Terri is black. Race has nothing to do with class and respect for other people and there space. I see just as many whites leave camp littered as any other race . The music or noise as most call it comes from everyone with a stereo in there sxs that thinks everyone should hear it. There are bad apples in all colors and races. Remember that when you leave camp and drive by the white or black or any other race you see leaving there trash in the woods .

1 pointWtf? Cheap butt mofo. You are part of the problem I have been to AK twice hunting. My outer layer was Sitka Coldfront and it held up to TONS of rain and some sub zero temps with some layering underneath. I took a set Helly Hanson on the first hunt and never needed it. Was some nice stuff but not breathable at all. If I were fishing, I would get some nice muck boots, some merino under layers and some good rain gear. The higher end Sitka stuff is outstanding in my opinion. I have the Coldfront and the storm front. Both fairly pricey, but worth every penny to not be cold and wet.

1 pointJust finished three days of fishing out of Homer with family. Weather ranged from perfect to wind and rain. Be prepared for anything. Heading back to AZ with a bunch of ling cod, halibut, salmon, cod and rock fish. great memories. Message me with any questions. Caught my biggest Halibut at around 100lbs.

1 pointMan people suck. It's not camping etiquette though. It's just people everywhere in any situation. Everyone these days have a sense of entitlement. Common sense is now officially uncommon. Been a biz owner for over 20 years and I have TONS of stories. Here's just 3.. 1. I hire a carpet guy to do install on a double wide that came off a dealers lot. No water or waste lines hooked up. Dude takes a steamer in the John and apparently had no tp. Literally used a bath towel hanging in the bathroom from when the house was staged on the dealers lot. Wipes his a$$ with it and leaves it sit in the sink. Flushes it down with a bucket and when the guys come to hook up the sewer line he's in the zone, and not the good zone. He totally denied it was him.. 2. Had the morenci and Clifton manufactured home subdivisions drywall, flooring and cleaning contract. Literally the end of the job like it's Thursday going home Friday. Made a couple jars of xxx for my bosses that hired me as a thank you. Went to the truck to grab a shop vac and noticed all 3 jars had varying differences in fill height. I'm a Virgo, everyone was precise when I filled them. I went to dude and was like wtf? I shoot you not his answer was "well I'm an alcoholic brother". Then he bails and I'm stuck over the weekend and miss my wife's birthday. Then I'm stuck in my trailer on his dad's property sleeping with my 40 cal because I'm worried he's gonna start shooting up my trailer cuz he was constantly making comments about how his dad just thought I was the best but he was a constant disappointment. 3. Hired another carpet guy for a job (another double wide). Dude trims all the carpet by hand and not with a wall trimmer. The floor trim in the house is basically MDF with a white paper film on the outside. Literally something like 350 linear feet of razor knifed floor trim and sprinkles blood throughout the house from where he had cut himself. Yup, I got even more...

1 pointI was that guy one time. I pulled up to elk camp late Wednesday night and just backed the trailer in and went to bed. I woke up to go scout the next morning and realized I was camped 50yds from another hunter. He was up making coffee so I walked over and told him I was sorry and would move camp when I was done scouting. He just laughed it off and said as long as we weren't too loud it wouldn't bother him at all. Every night he would come over and share the days events. We have been friends ever since.

1 pointI remember back in 2018 this time of year ,when I found out that I drew a bighorn tag. The excitement and anticipation for the hunt were a magical time.
