I was able to call this bird into bow range (20 yards) this morning for my adult son. One arrow did the trick for his first turkey. Good times.

Thanks everyone for the positivity. Looking forward to it. Here’s the bird my boy got last weekend. Had to put 3/4 of the beard back in for the picture. It got a like western out there. I didn’t take the best pictures, think I was just amped up from all the excitement.

Wife got lucky and drew this tag again with 2 points. She had it a few years ago and shot and missed at a giant and had a whole bunch of close calls. It’s redemption time this year. Cant wait for this hunt!

Just got back from Texas on a DIY. I was fortunate to smash the speckled trout and was blessed with a 20 inch trout. The redfiish bite was hot and got to tag a 29inch 8lb 14oz red. I did keep 2 other redfish a 22" and a 25" I attached pictures to share. Can't figure out how to rotate them

Savage 116 chambered in 7mm Rem Mag Stainless 24" barrel Comes with Weaver Pic rail and two magazines. I picked this up for a build, but am currently in the middle of three other projects, so that build is not going to happen this summer. Non-accutrigger has been tuned at one time or another. Breaks clean at 2lb. The original recoil pad has been removed from the stock, but a slip-on has been added. LOP is right at 13.5" $550 North of Tucson

I use Starline in 7mm08. The concentricity and neck tension I get is right up there with the Lapua and Alpha brass I use in the same gun. I'll likely stick with the Starline for any future purchases.

I've used it in pistols and 223, works fine, I bought some 7mm08 just to have but haven't needed to load it yet. Any new brass I may need I'll get starline. Kent

Is anyone looking for a hunting/fishing base camp for unit 1 and 27? My family is selling our cabin in beautiful Alpine, AZ. It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and sits on 1.5 acres in the pines with stunning views of Luna lake from the back deck. PM me if you’re interested or have questions. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/10-N-County-Road-2148-Alpine-AZ-85920/2064368476_zpid/?mibextid=Zxz2cZ&fbclid=IwAR1fJaN_ogW8pL90gXZnuo_t56Jr9VPoQBO9SUyFv8GZA1LtXfPgoNfAkBE

We sucked. Not one bite for me and Nummie had one blow up on a buzzbait. We spent all our time in the trees on the Tonto end and the water was 20'. Mainly just wanted to run the old gas out of my boat. Had a nice day and only spent a couple of hours on the lake. Nummie had to take it easy on his heart so I had to launch and load by myself so was just worn out. Should have gone farther up to shallow water but we were just messing around and drinking some beer. Still had fun after 3 years of not fishing because of my wife's cancer.

29 is the unit I would want that tag in. I haven't hunt 29 in years, and only for deer, but I have seen Turkey there almost every time. I saw more turkey than deer.

No different than the pistol braces, bump stocks, FRT triggers. They are overstepping their powers but it takes years to go through the courts.

I have loaded 223 with starline and seems to be good to go. I'm getting ready to buy about 100ct of 45-70 starline brass. For precision, I really have not messed with it.

Upper part of upper Lk Mary, dam at upper Lk Mary overflowing, upper part of lower Lk Mary as seen from upper Lk Mary dam, & lower Lk Mary at lower LM dam. Yes, there's lots of water in Northern AZ!

Tough couple of days for us. We fished Tuesday and wind was brutal and the high was 50. The water level was high all day (normal high level) but doable. I had about a dozen takes all day and an egg was the best. Wednesday the weather was much better but the water was even higher. Basically un-wadeable. Four mile island was completely submerged to give you all an idea. Ton of grass and debris floating. Needless to say fishing sucked. We ended up anchoring our boat in a few spots and caught a few on some runs where new water was washing out the grass but it was slow. I think the fish were unreachable depth wise and confused with the increased water. It sounds like the water will. Be ultra high at 19k cfs nonstop until October to fill up Mead so I don’t think fly fishing is gonna be fun fyi to folks considering a trip. Spinning and cicada hatch I’m guessing will be fine once the fish adapt, given you’ll be in a boat drifting. grade D for this trip.
