Yea my family and I just got back from the pope and young convention in Reno Nevada and it was an amazing experience that all bow hunters in their life should go and see! As far as the deer, I was invited to bring the deer to panel scoring, not knowing where it would place, but thought it would be awesome for my children to see so I went ahead and did it. I had no clue of the gears ranking until we showed up in Reno on our first day and we’re walking around the display with all the trophies from all over North America and to my surprise I saw Ace ranking. It was a super cool experience and a lot of fun for the family.

You can camp A LOT of places right now. Many are relatively snow free just out of Alpine. Of course the higher stuff south of Hannagan will be tough to get into, as many roads are still impassable due to snow drifts. All that country from Alpine to Josh Ranch is good to go.

Yeah, 1.5-3 days on a boat with Californians is 1.5- 3 too much. We’re better off grouper fishing.

The OP likely is targeting bluefin tuna though. The San Diego boats have nice gear set up for the fish they’re targeting.

15 mile and 5 hour chase. Lead to a bluffed up lion and a big one at that. Biggest lion to date and couldn’t be a much more deserving person to take him. Coach Tenney has been a football coach and has put blood, sweat, and tears into the community. A man that I respect as well as many others. I called and talked to the people who collared him. Supposedly the battery had died about a week before and they had been unable to catch him for quite some time. Glad to see all the hard work with the dogs has been paying off and big. IMG_3985.MOV

My wife daughter and myself went 3 for 3 on the San Carlos. It was tough hunting but made it happen. My wife and I doubled up.
