I took my boy and nephews to Sycamore Falls the other day. Its the biggest I have ever seen it.

Caught a few this weekend… so much water now the fish are scattered everywhere. This one was Sunday morning very light tapppy tap tap…she was spawning and went right back.

Last tag for javelina this year. We had some bad winds this week after my wife killed on Friday. I spent the last 4 days wondering if I forgot what a javelina looks like in the binos. My son and I went out everyday after school with no luck. We put on some good miles hiking and glassed til dark each day. Yesterday evening we got an email from the school district that we have a snow day and there’s no school on Thursday. So this morning we booked out for a last day of the season hunt. The morning portion ended up seeing diddly squat. I remembered that last Saturday I spotted a herd 3 miles out but I had no idea how to get there and couldn’t landmark the area. We watched a young lady stalk that herd but couldn’t tell if she harvested anything. When I was running out of options today, We decided to head there and see if we could pick up the herd. I glassed up a single pig moving in a wash bed and we gave chase, got to 30-50 yards but no shots. The pig caught on that he was being chased and eventually ran off. We moved to another glassing spot close by and saw another single pig walking and we gave chase. Snuck in to 85 yards and waited for a broadside shot and got an opportunity and my son (Colby) knocked him down. I’m guessing the young lady got a shot off on Saturday since both pigs were solo and moving. This one is gonna be one of the best snow days Colby’ll have. He was ecstatic with harvesting a pig on the last day of the season. The pig was a nice sized boar 7-8 years old, real stinky. Gotta have been a breeding boar.

You realize drawing a unit 22 sheep tag with less than max isn't a 0% chance right? It's statistically about 0% but it's not 0%. Enough crazy things happen and it can be drawn. Especially now that the top point group is down to 2 and the next group has 114 people. Majority of those 114 people aren't going to try for 22. There's roughly 30 tags in the bonus pass and if all 30 of those tags were to go to other hunts then 22 would be open to a random draw tag. Insanely low odds of it happening but it's not 0%

It is safe as long as the dam doesn't fail. It was really cool actually, I highly recommend it if you can get out there soon.

Shooters pro shop has some of the blemished in stock on the 140s. Personally haven't tried the blemished from here but haven't heard anything bad from those that have used em. Or, you could flunk out of college like I did, but it's not the recommended route. I didn't withdraw from 5 classes my Jr. Year. Oh well, maybe I'll start back next year after my son graduates from highschool. It would feel better to graduate, just probably too late to do anything with it. Is forty years later too late?🤣

Pesticides had apparently built-up over time in the farmlands along the river, and then were washed in and concentrated in Painted Rock when it filled in 2005. Wasn't like a train tipped over or something like that..... More a product of usage over time.

Good question. Inlet doesn’t differentiate as all TIkka t3x’s are the same length, it’s only the bolt stop that differentiates them from long vs short. This one has a long action bolt stop but it could be replaced with a short if desired.

$3200 for used binos is a SERIOUS price. 🤣🤣
