Another tip that came with my Canyon cooler was to "precool" it. Throw a block of ice in it the day before you add the meat because a room temp cooler draws the cold out until the inside walls are cool. Enjoy that beef!

Tough couple of days for us. We fished Tuesday and wind was brutal and the high was 50. The water level was high all day (normal high level) but doable. I had about a dozen takes all day and an egg was the best. Wednesday the weather was much better but the water was even higher. Basically un-wadeable. Four mile island was completely submerged to give you all an idea. Ton of grass and debris floating. Needless to say fishing sucked. We ended up anchoring our boat in a few spots and caught a few on some runs where new water was washing out the grass but it was slow. I think the fish were unreachable depth wise and confused with the increased water. It sounds like the water will. Be ultra high at 19k cfs nonstop until October to fill up Mead so I don’t think fly fishing is gonna be fun fyi to folks considering a trip. Spinning and cicada hatch I’m guessing will be fine once the fish adapt, given you’ll be in a boat drifting. grade D for this trip.

The red pad is 7mm mag. It has a few light handling marks but very nice. Had a Leupold M8 4X scope. The Mark II is 30 06 in very nice shape with a Burris 2-7 power scope. Has a black Ruger pad. $850 each in the south Tempe area

15 mile and 5 hour chase. Lead to a bluffed up lion and a big one at that. Biggest lion to date and couldn’t be a much more deserving person to take him. Coach Tenney has been a football coach and has put blood, sweat, and tears into the community. A man that I respect as well as many others. I called and talked to the people who collared him. Supposedly the battery had died about a week before and they had been unable to catch him for quite some time. Glad to see all the hard work with the dogs has been paying off and big. IMG_3985.MOV

Need to be done with these ads so I'm having a spring sale on guns I have listed on here. (This should be interpreted as: I'm tired of jacking around with it and could get asking price on other forums but am too lazy to box and ship. Way too much hassle. I'd rather sell to someone local for less money) See actual listing for details on the guns. Charles Daly 16ga O/U - now $1500 Savage Sporter 25-20 - now $425 **SOLD Kimber Camp Guard - now $975 **SOLD Ithaca Mag-10 - now $700 with no ammo

This is a Ted Williams model 300, which I am almost sure, is a Winchester 1400 made for Sears. Semi auto, 2 3/4", with a factory installed adjustable choke. Barrel measures 27" including the choke. Very nice shape. I'm never going to use it so it's looking for a new home. $250 in south Tempe area

Enjoyed the video, I've never been to Bartlett so it was interesting the last section of the video talking about restructuring the dam to hold more water. Enough for another 350,00 homes.........crazy to think about all the water necessary to maintain the valley sprawl.

Good to know. Wasn't sure if that would or wouldn't help. Small town near Bedford.

Not sure why I never thought of that, makes a lot of sense. Will be sure to do this.

My wife daughter and myself went 3 for 3 on the San Carlos. It was tough hunting but made it happen. My wife and I doubled up.

Man without the paint I’d be all over it. Good deal for someone who doesn't care for the original beauty.

Todd (Southern Xpress) built mine. Hit my Mulie at 354 yards with no problem. Extremely accurate and consistent. Mine uses 111 grains of BH209 and the Arrowhead NS .45 cal bullets. Thanks Todd!😁

Leave the darn brown trout alone. Over a Damm chub that doesn't live in that cold of water. Thats why I love fishing the green in Wyoming. Huge browns, and rainbows. Arizona trout are bait everywhere else. And I thought they were lowering the limit from 6 to 4 and the fish were gonna be bigger, and they don't plant fish that breed anymore. Sorry I like brown trout.

15 or so years ago, I saw more turkeys in unit 34 south of Cloudcroft than any other place I have ever been. The road south out of town goes along a narrow meadow and there were Tom's all along the drive strutting right out in the wide open at multiple spots. We couldn't hunt them because they were all on private land. Unit 34 has lots of private land and got to be such a big hassle that we never returned. Anytime I travel out of state to hunt or fish, I come back with a better appreciation of Arizona and all our public land. Good Luck
