Roosevelt could fill up in 2 days, by the sound of tonto creek right now. When you can hear the boulders crashing that creek is roaring.

Don’t waste your time on 15a/b. They have some elk on the res boarder during the summer but are on the res by the time the rut starts. In 18a, a lot of private property, some scattered housing and some big chunks of private (x-1 ranch) that you need to stay away from. Elk are pretty nomadic there and roam far and wide and are few and far between in most of the unit. Honestly summer scouting won’t help a lot, sad to say. Where they are now or even in August is little indication of where they will be come late September, they usually make big moves to rut. I would spend more time looking for elk and bugles(at night and early morning) just before the hunt to be most effective.

Right. Getting up date from friends all over up here, not good, homes are getting flooded out. I'm on top of a hill, but people in the low spots are screwed. Bear flats, flooding Beaver valley Whispering pines Houston creek Tonto creek Christopher creek Horton creek Hagler creek And every dry wash. Crazy but awesome. Time to build some more lakes, Doll Baby lake would be cool. One up by Camp Verdie and many more to catch water from rainy years like this. And more fishing because you can't steal a tag anymore.. Stay safe please. Turn around don't flout the fxxk away..

Went down to tonto basin today to look at generator job and the tonto is fricking roaring, so my guess next couple of days, every wash is running hard up here. Feels like the storm and flow from 1991 but only one day of rain. Stay safe and don't even try crossing anything with this storm. Solid steady none stop down poor up here since last night and they say an inch to come. Roofers will be busy

Don't you have to have 2 jobs today to survive ?

If one wants a second job where you can basically choose your hours uber, door dash etc are great options. I didn't feel like doing a second job after doing construction or pest control all day. At least with Uber you can choose your time slots and at least take it a bit easy on your body while still learning a bit extra on the side. Now my foreclosure work is starting up again and I'm swamped with construction work but I'm still gonna doordash in the evenings. Day work provides for the family, doordash provides me mad money for whatever..

So much financial advice in here. Don't get a side job @ 33 years old to get some extra $$$. Bunch of commies if you ask me. Who gives AF if this guy wants to earn a little extra money and drive for Uber. Buddy of mine makes over 200k at his 6-2 job and still does Uber and lift on the side in his 7 series. His stories are nothing short of epic. Why in the world are we clowning this guy for getting a side hustle again?

Man you guys are rough. I know a few uber guys that make great money. If you find the right place some guys are killing it. Good luck to your boy. Not everyone has 30K in the bank to buy new chit....

Ithaca Mag-10 with 32" barrel, fixed full choke. Excellent condition, probably 30 or 40 rounds total shot through it. I painted it camo for turkey hunting and coyote calling. A little wear in the paint from carrying it. It has beautiful wood underneath the paint. The paint is easy to remove if you would rather have it original. The ultimate goose/turkey/predator calling gun! **SOLD*** Possible trade for HK USP 45 Expert or SIG XTEN.

Been snowing all day here in Flagstaff. Started last night and hasn’t let up. Wet, heavy snow! Or as they say heart attack snow! Things are starting to get Western south of the Rim with the rivers and streams. Stay safe down there!

It's kind of like the old time gun shops in that there are a lot of used guns. Some of old guns. A lot of new stuff too. Not much in the way of reloading stuff on display but worth asking. They have a lot of stuff in the back room. They'll also receive guns too. I like it.

Lots of data points scattered about the SRP watersheds but at the end of the day it's somewhat of a crap shoot trying to balance safety vs a 100% full reservoir. Apparently there is still a substantial amount of snowpack yet to melt, SRP currently releasing 10,400 cfs from Bartlett and 1,270 cfs from Stewart Mtn. SRP hydrologists are earning their keep this spring.

Smittys was my goto store. The one on Stapley and McKellips had a Garden Center and the wife, me and daughter could have breakfast with change back from $10. I miss those pre Walmart Days.
