Well lake is way up. 30 ft since Janruary. Up just 2 ft last night. Fishing is tuff. Went and saw to tournament weigh ins and 4 lb won 1 tourny and 22 won the other. But only 3 boats weighed five i believe. Most boats getting skunked. We got 9 first day then 5 the next. Today we did better. Figured out a color they wanted and picked up about 10. Best 5 was 18.1 today. 5.3 big fish. My sons pb. Rain is starting again so about to fry up these fish. Made ceviche last night with the bass. All fish r eaten at camp by a group of friends so f*** off about releasing them. Water temp is 59-64 today. Muddy as crap. Will post over next few days.

That's why I always find it comical when people continuously bitch about G&F being "late" with results, based on everybody's timeline they think it should happen in. They don't have to provide anything until the tag mailout deadline. Everything before that is just a convenience. Does it make it nice when they can provide results soon after credit cards are charged, absolutely. Is it something people have come to expect, of course, myself included.

Good memories. I bought many a gun from Morrey and could spend hours looking through all of the treasures there. And I have 3 or 4 Circe calls. You had to have at least one Circe call if you hunted coyotes in AZ. 👍

Make sure you have your back to a tree .I had the 6a spring hunt a few years back and you never know what you can call in.Calling turkey and had a bear step out at 30 yds and closed to 20 as I backed out .Remember you sound like food for most predators.

The most sought after tags in AZ are any Gould’s unit. I think the bonus pass is around 16 points or more for those hunts. If you want to hunt Merriam’s unit 1, 27 & 12A have the largest flocks in the state with 23 and 6A not far behind. Tags are usually fairly easy to draw. Don’t put in for 12A there will be leftover tags in that unit if you don’t draw out in other units and are willing to drive that far for a Turkey. Hope this helps.
