Friday morning we gave chase to a herd and they totally disappeared when we got to where they were. On our hike back to the glassing spot, my dad called and he had spotted a different herd and we started walking in that direction. We had a tough time getting a clear shot in the tall grass across the canyon, so we decided to stalk the herd like we were archery hunting. A couple pigs popped out but didn’t give us a shot and after following behind the herd for 10 min, one pig decided to stop and feed giving my wife a 49 yard shot. Hopefully the video works! They just busted acouple guys , pulled them over for a tragic violation. Then said they had criminal actions, what ever that means? Then got a warrant, not hard in this county . Since the judge and sheriff work in the same building. Anyway they found a shoot can o fentanyl and coke, meth. Enough to kill everyone in AZ. So what I'm am saying if you got the time and money to play the game do it. They see a bad guy in every car. I always say we have the most political, Podunk town in the US and we have the keystone cops. And oh ya please slow down we don't speed in your front yard so have a little respect for us hillbilly's we respect you.

The keys are great. Never did do any fishing there, though I wish we would have. We stayed on Key West. Was a great time, and will go back. Would recommend a stop on Big Pine Key to see the Keys Deer. Smallest specie of whitetail. I remember reading about them in the old man's outdoor life magazine as a kid, wondering about these crazy tiny deer that swam the ocean from key to key. First time I'd read about Coues deer as well. Couldn't have been but 8 years old, but both these tiny whitetails fascinated me.

Elk draw deadline was Feb. 8th last year. CC hits on March 2nd. 3 weeks and 1 day after draw deadline. Deer draw went smoother. Deadline was June 14th and they hit CC's on the 28th. They will put out an announcement soon with the "Update CC deadline" date and they will hit CC's the next morning. At least that is the way it has been going. Since they haven't announced that yet, my bet would be that they hit CC's on March 7th. Just a guess though.

What are you a Nascar driver, wish they would put them back up in star valley to slow the dumb fxxks down , , remember just because you don't live hear others do. Be respectfull to others and slow down. Must people who complain about the camera's are the ones with a lead foot. But its OK because the Payson PD potrol it know and if they get you there tearing your car apart, and if your unlucky the Reservation police will get you.
