Lol, dang Indians get everything else for free and it's still not enough. I'll be for it only if they allow us access to their reservations to hunt for free.

Even though I will probably never draw a tag in my lifetime, I love seeing these guys. They are such amazing animals. This is a 24B ram, and not one that you’d see from one of the lakes. He looked to be a really good ram. Hopefully the video uploads with good clarity. IMG_1288.MOV

Thoughts? HB2236 - G&F; fees; exemption; tribal members Sponsor: Rep. Myron Tsosie (D) A person who is an enrolled member of a federally recognized Indian tribe located wholly or partially in Arizona is exempt from the fees for licenses, permits, tags and stamps and application fees prescribed by the Game and Fish Commission. Disposition Referred to Committee - Land, Agriculture & Rural Affairs

I'm not supporting it but I wouldn't be upset if it passed. If I came to terms with anyone hunting for free, it would be the people who have hunted here for many generations before, who wouldn't have socially and physically demolished the law and ecology of the land instead of some of the people poaching and consuming AZ wildlife today, one way or another. There are likely less federally registered tribal members that hunt than hunting Californians that will migrate to Arizona in '23 alone.

There was a video on their fb page that said it was strictly because of laws regarding raffles and buying raffle tickets across state lines. I have a feeling they added that rule with no intention, or maybe not even the ability, to check and see if the tickets were purchased in AZ. But their butts will be covered. I like it due to the fact that it will help the odds of az residents drawing.

With only 2 points for elk I don't stand a chance. But, I had bought point guard last year for antelope and turned my tag in. That gives me a bunch of archery antelope points. The two units I applied for were in the bonus round last year with the number of points I have this year. We shall see.

Free bump for a good fire pit. I’ve had plenty of beers around one with the builder. It can hold lots of fuel (wood) and throw a lot of heat. He knows how to build them right.

I "inherited" this blade and it is part of my collection which I am selling off piece by piece. I don't have an idea how old this is but it has been in my collection for around 25 years, I suspect it is 30 to 35 years old, I have no way of knowing. Made in Japan. Has a rubber grip and brass guard and pommel, original sheath. 8" overall length with a 3 5/8"edge, the ricasso is 1/2". $100.00 gets it to your door in AZ.

Upgraded to noorio. Noorio is still battery powered and wireless connectivity, but has a bit more functionality and better battery life as the battery is larger. For a basic security camera system, Arlo worked well for its ease of install and batteries still lasted a fairly long time unless in a high traffic area like a driveway. That required a new battery every 2-3 weeks. Patio and front door lasted a couple month easy. Eddie

I hope you weren’t eating a cheeseburger while doing that, or potato chips, or actually literally anything. I hope you weren’t doing it in the peace and quiet of your living room with running water and power. All of those things come from genetic modification. We wouldn’t have even close to enough food in this world right now if it weren’t for that. As far as antler size and “hunting” those animals, as long as they’re using the meat it’s no skin off my back if someone wants to do it. Nearly everyone who goes to NZ and shoots a red stag is doing the same thing, they just don’t tell you when they get home. I’ll do my thing, you can do yours, we’re all on the same team.

Well, some of my best elk spots came up empty this year. I did a lot of scouting, and they really moved around. But I did eventually find some decent bulls. It was a tough call, but I settled on a place that I thought wouldn't have a lot of pressure, and had a couple of legit shooters hanging around. Opening day did not disappoint, as the bulls were on schedule and in place. But by the time we had dropped down the canyon, and back up to a knob to shoot from, they disappeared. We sat there till 4 looking for them, but to no avail. My buddy went back up high to look some more for them, and found another 6x6. It took us an hour to get out of that canyon, and by the time we got up there, the 6x had moved on and we could not relocate him. On saturday, we went back in there, and could only find some smaller bulls that didn't slow down for a shot. By the end of the day Saturday, I was pretty beat up. I decided to take Sunday off completely and recover. After church, my son begged me, " let's drive down forrest road **** and just see if we can glass something up. I reluctantly agreed. And sure enough, we did. With my son standing there, excited, I couldn't help but shoot this bull. My son ranged him at 487, i touched off my tikka 300 win mag, and he dropped in his tracks. He struggled, and got back up, but fell over again. It took us a minute to find him, but we did, and thanked the Lord, who is always good. it was a great hunt. Good time spent with friends and family.
