Have him go down to the union hall in Tucson and talk to them. No sense paying to go to a trade school when he can be earning money and going through the apprenticeship locally. Tucson has some great union shops. A friend of mine has one of the biggest shops in Tucson and I can give him a call to see what he says. He has been in business for 30 years. Also hunts and when I spoke with him last year he told me he had 150 guys on the payroll. Both new construction and tenant improvement build outs. They do a lot of hospital work. Super nice guy. Feel free to call me or PM me. Going out of town to a trade school co$t's and then there are always all the "distractions". Chris 602-499-0610

The reservoir would have to be made 'upside down. ' (Hassayampa humor) Painted Rock comes to mind. If CA was concerned about addressing their drought, why haven't they been building reservoirs? Too distracted by giving illegals welfare and mandating electric lawnmowers?

Not much to write, other than I sat on my glassing nob this morning, wondering why I even came hunting with this nasty winter storm on top of me. Windy, cold, and rainy. About 20 min into glassing I heard rocks crashing underneath me and this buck was running around the nob looking for a doe 100 yards beneath me. I went down the hill and to my surprise the buck was still there coming out of the cut he had no idea I was even there and gave me a 40 yard shot.I made a great shot and he expired within 40 yards. Being in the right place at the right time was the truth this morning and luck was on my side. I have never had a buck run up on me like that when I am glassing but I guess anything is possible during the rut!

Simple answer is no finish work on the outside or inside. If people want the inside lined they can line it but the idea is the simple/different. Long answer goes like this............................... I grew up with the mortician that is located down in Benson and because I have kinfolk down in the St. David area he has seen a couple of my projects. Then one day, his dad who coached for forever down in Animas passed away and he called me to make his Dad's casket. We built that one out of old bleacher material his dad had salvaged from the old gym in Animas. Then about two months ago he calls me up and says...............I have an old cowboy down here that wants a pine box to bury his son in, I need it by Monday..........and this was Saturday evening about 9:00pm. So began the unfinished pine box...................................... He then decided he wanted one for his display room.....

Went out to my usual stomping ground for quail and got on 10-15 different small coveys. Knocked down 8 recovered 7. Always like finding/seeing other wildlife, came across these barn owls hunkered down in a vertical mineshaft. And of course love finding deer sheds.

Any of the skilled trades are a good choice. Workers are becoming hard to find. The railroad is good but a lot of guys have to move wherever they tell them to.

Yup! Good stuff! These winter rains along with the summer rains in AZ have done well.

Law was passed while Jack Williams was in office, circa 1971. Wesley Bolin made it very popular for a while, like a trade mark of Arizonans, if my memory serves me correctly.

43x (MOS). I like the extra 4 to 7 round capability. Still conceals very well, even with optic and extended 13+1 mag.

My younger brother and I have been hunting Az for 7 years and specifically predator calling for about 4 now. Very excited but also a little embarrassed it took me this long to get my first coyote. We’ve both missed a few over the years and also just messed up a few opportunities. We always felt like we didn’t really know what we was doing but it finally all came together a couple days ago. We had just finished the 2nd stand of the morning and after seeing nothing for 30 minutes, I suddenly noticed something on the opposite ridge about 200 yards off, literally as we were unloading our guns and packing up the call and ready to call ourselves the worlds worst predators hunters. I quickly got set up on it in the prone position and dropped it at 185 yards right as it was about to trot back over the ridge. We went ballistic when we walked up on it. Hopefully we’ve broken our curse and will start harvesting more predators now. Hunting 21 with the deer and pronghorn populations being decimated by coyotes. Thanks to anyone that bothered to read this. I know a lotta guys are able to shoot hundreds of these things a year but we were very excited feeling like we finally cracked the code.

I didnt pay extra to get the breeding rights to my first lab 17 years ago so I could never register his pups or any generation after him. I was never planning to breed him or care if he was registered but he turned out to be an awesome dog that we wanted to keep a part of him. I am on his third generation now.

While we're at it let's ban compound bows and cheaty pin sights too. Probably shouldn't allow mechanical broadheads either. Slippery slope when you start letting them take things away from us, where will they stop?

No smokeless ML allowed in AZ during a ML or HAM hunt. You can use it elsewhere, or on a general AZ hunt. But they do GREAT with BH209 too, so you can go that route. Just did a quick tutorial for a buddy. He shoots smokeless too with H322.
