I didn’t give a care either really, till I smoked my first pork butt recently. It’s like eating at a premium bbq joint but it’s cheap.

Took my son out to check some petroglyphs I found the other day and happened to see some tines hanging above us. Can you spot the antler?

My younger brother and I have been hunting Az for 7 years and specifically predator calling for about 4 now. Very excited but also a little embarrassed it took me this long to get my first coyote. We’ve both missed a few over the years and also just messed up a few opportunities. We always felt like we didn’t really know what we was doing but it finally all came together a couple days ago. We had just finished the 2nd stand of the morning and after seeing nothing for 30 minutes, I suddenly noticed something on the opposite ridge about 200 yards off, literally as we were unloading our guns and packing up the call and ready to call ourselves the worlds worst predators hunters. I quickly got set up on it in the prone position and dropped it at 185 yards right as it was about to trot back over the ridge. We went ballistic when we walked up on it. Hopefully we’ve broken our curse and will start harvesting more predators now. Hunting 21 with the deer and pronghorn populations being decimated by coyotes. Thanks to anyone that bothered to read this. I know a lotta guys are able to shoot hundreds of these things a year but we were very excited feeling like we finally cracked the code.

Deer hunting near Rich Hill, lots of diggings and shafts dot the landscape. Old cans and bottle shards from the last two centuries. Spotted this 12ga. Shotshell brass, dates back 100 years. Next in a miners rock claim cairn monument, I dug down past the top stones and found this claim notice in an old bottle Still trying to get the lid off. It’s pretty beat up, doesn't want to give up its secrets easily.

Those are good options but I would prefer a private FTF sale. Bob

Maybe too drunk or high…in which case I’m glad they’re off the road. But yeah I’ve noticed a lot more pickups waiting when I’ve been in fast food restaurants lately. Even way outside the city…

I did a prime rib this year but forgot to take a picture so I’ll add to this thread by posting one from a couple years ago with a giant Coues next to it. I love cooking on my Traeger, I'm sure there are others that are better or just as good but I've had pretty good luck with mine for almost 10 years now. I did have to replace an auger motor and a fan but that is about it.

What is wrong with excercising a Constitutional right? I carry everywhere too. And am no giant of a man either. You are starting to overstep.

You both sound like bitter exes. I’d suggest therapy or move on. Or get on Dr. Phil’s show…… spare the rest of us

I found this deadhead on a ranch here in Texas. I recently restored it and I was thinking this may be a Coues. I know it may be hard to tell but I have a suspicion it may be. Thanks for any help!

Love mine. I leave a metal scraper in the bottom of the barrel that I use to break up the stuff in the grease trap drain, and break up the dust if needed. Then shop vac everything out when needed which isn't that often. The front mount tray is a must of your model didn't come with it.

Not sure where your gripe is. I vacuum mine out maybe 3 times a year and burn thru 10+ bags of pellets a year. Mine is one of the older models but still kicking.

Already posted my buck but wanted to post up some pics of a hunters first deer kill. was able to glass up 3 bucks bedded and managed to move into 352 yards. Since this was his first chance at a deer I told him to pick the deer and when it gets up we will count down and shoot. His deer was bedded in the open, one was very small and the one I shot was in thick brush with only the head showing through an opening My deer was bedded but I could make a easy, clean head shot so I was not worried (looking forward to the haters on the shot), well his buck finally got up turned broad side and the rest is history. 1,2…..bang 2 dead deer.
