Managed to fill an early rifle tag near my hometown in Michigan.Great weather for the hunt and managed to get him at 557 yards with the AR-10….Sorry for the delay and bad field photos 🤣
Selling my Christensen Arms Mesa FFT in 6.5 PRC. Less than 40 rounds through it. Is in like new condition. Has a KRG Bravo stock on it with 5 round magazine. Has 20-inch threaded barrel. Has 20 moa rail. Bipod not included. Shoots half minute with factory Hornady Match ammo. I have a couple boxes I could include as well. Sweet setup only selling because I got new gun and need to sell this one. Asking 1250. Everything new cost me over 2200 so I'm taking a big loss but need to get this thing sold.
So, after five years, the Cats come out on top. It was a close game, and great to watch. I had my pucker moments at the end but the turnover relaxed my sphincter. Can someone take that freakin billboard on I10 down now?
I saw a post made on HuntAz’s Instagram page. I am not trying to steal anyone’s thunder and I apologize if the hunter did not want any publicity but I think this is just bad butt that he shot this in a super tough unit and did not allow his disabilities prevent him from getting it done.
Congratulations to him.
Hi Guys Round Valley Processing is currently open and will be thru the late whitetail season. They have room in their walk-in. 928-978-2390.
Update...Round Valley will be open this year until around January 20th 2023.. see you in January.
My Camp Chef pellet grill has a lever you pull and the ash dumps out from the bottom. You might look at some other models if you don’t like cleaning the traeger manually…
Got rid of my Traeger and got a Masterbuilt Gravity fed charcoal model.
Uses charcoal and real wood yet still has all of the temperature controls, WIFI, etc
But, like any grill, it will flare up if you don't clean/maintain it.
Not sure where your gripe is. I vacuum mine out maybe 3 times a year and burn thru 10+ bags of pellets a year. Mine is one of the older models but still kicking.
I've had the 23 Nov archery bull tag 3 times and the 10 early archery bull tag twice. Night and day difference. Everyone who hunts should get to hunt bulls in the rut at least once. It's the most exhilarating thing you can be doing when you are in the middle of a herd of elk with a slight drizzle coming down (knocks your scent out of the air) and there are a herd of elk following the herd bulls' bugles. " It's the best Jerry, the best" (some of you might not get that reference).
I waited 16 years for an early rifle tag. Screw that. I started putting in for hunts with lower success and higher draw odds. 3 tags in 7 years. 3 dead bulls!
