5 pointsWith permission from Amanda i am offering the following. I retired 10 years ago and started a small wholesale Pecan company ( NEWEPCO LLC) located in Tucson. I recently bought out the last of Green Valley Pecan Companies inventory. I normally sell pecans wholesale in batches of 1500 lbs. Part of the recent purchases was about 200 cases ( 12 lbs) 24 8 oz packages of shelled pieces. I was able to buy these at a great price and would like to give a little back to the great members here. Here is what I am offering. These pecans have a best by date of sept 2022 but have been in cold storage and I guarantee their freshness for 6 months. They are fresher than anything you find in the store. They can be stored in your freezer to be used as needed. I will sell a total of 40 cases to members. Each case has 24 8 oz cello package of pecans. For a total weight of 12 lbs. see pictures below. I am offering these pecans at my discounted cost of $45.00 per case if picked up at my home or a meeting place we can determine. I am willing to ship these anywhere in AZ for $25.00 per case, or for $30.00 anywhere else. I will take Venmo, personal checks, or money orders. If you are a member with history on this forum I will send pecans out immediately or pick up anytime. I wont need to wait for a check to clear. If you are a member with no history and just joined I will not send to you as there are too many scammers. If you would like a case just PM me with your shipping address or contact me and we will make arrangements to pick up. Happy Thanksgiving Phil.

1 pointSOLD This is a "Bolt Action", side charging AR, there is NO gas system (CA LEGAL!). Without optic it weighs 3lbs 4oz. Half the weight of your average "light" hunting rifle!! I built it this year to make the "worlds lightest" practical hunting rifle. It is an absolute dream to carry in the field. I killed a small buck and large black bear with it this season. It easily shoots under 2moa in field positions. With no muzzle break I was spotting shots at 400y, shot a couple 5" groups at 450yards . This is the perfect 400y killing stick. I used the absolute lightest AR parts on EARTH! Or at least, the lightest I could find after MANY hours of research. Sourced from many different stores. Parts List: $70-Aero Precision Ultralight Scope Mount $475-Xcaliber Barrel, 16" 1/8 5R Spaghetti contour, stainless 1/2x28 muzzle threads, no gas port, Cryogenic treated. $100-Aero Precision Slick upper receiver. Was machined to accommodate side charging handle. $160-DSA Aluminum enhanced BCG, modified with Titanium to accept a side charging handle. $110-Rubber City 6.5 Grendel bolt. $50-FMK polymer lower receiver. $240-Smoke Composites Carbon Fiber Buttstock assembly. $30-Smoke Composites aluminum Barrel nut. $60- Custom Carbon Fiber hand guard. $20-Smoke Carbon Fiber End Plate. $20-Smoke Composites Aluminum castle nut. $35- New Frontier Polymer Lower parts kit.(I love the trigger on this, breaks a little under 3lbs) $20- Taccom ultralight Polymer buffer. $20-Hogue 15deg grip. $60- V seven Titanium Micro brake. $$-Titanium, aluminum or polymer were used to replace any small steel parts. Comes to $1470 on my calculator, not including tax or shipping on any of the listed parts. Scope in photos is no longer available Selling with 6 Boxes of Hornady Black ELDM 123gr. SOLD

1 pointBadlands 2200. Good condition. Meat shelf used once for an elk but zero dirt or blood. One side zipper is missing the pull (see photo), but otherwise it’s great. Comes with water bladder that was used once. Priced to sell, perfect for new or young hunter. Located in Queen Creek. $100.

1 pointDecoys are a PITA to haul around. I use a box call and a mouth call and it isn't that hard to get a horny tom running to you. You can also just start walking to another location. I would try not using them and if you don't have any luck then try using a couple. I have a hunt in unit 1 and just think turkeys are a blast to hunt. Good luck on your hunt.

1 pointI'd like to stay away from vortex .I bought 4 scopes last time and had two that wouldn't track. There replacements are still new in the boxes sitting on the reloading bench.I figure they might be good for a 22 or just use them when they have a trade in sale and get me a decent scope.

1 pointDitch the 30mm rings. It will cost you more money for 30mm scopes and most 30mm scopes have more complicated reticles.

1 pointKeep it something that doesn't need parallax adjustment. 3x9 or some 4x12. I personally like Leupold with a simple hold over reticle, but vortex or burris are good choices too.

1 pointThat's a great bow at a really decent price... A Bear "Kodiak Magnum" was the 1st bow I ever owned... Since the early 1970s I've used mine to kill quite a few Javelina and Deer...

1 pointMake sure you do some shooting off tripod before going out. Especially if you think you might shoot standing up. I missed an easy shot on a cow elk this year The shot went way high. I had my rifle dialed but from the bipod shooting prone. I never shot from the tripod before but at 300 yards I did not think it could be that much difference.

1 pointBeen enjoying your quest so far. Hope your last one is a true giant. Keep on posting and you'll keep getting shots over the bow (that comes with the posting of dreams). Best of luck to you.

1 pointHey Donkey Man are you going to get them all mounted, that would be such a cool wall. If you do post a pic. Hope you get the last one good luck!!

1 pointNo class what a rude comments to make to someone trying to do something positive and peaceful. You have no clue about religion. The kid didn't bring religion into anything, you punks did. PRDATR, NOTAGS PALIADIN529 the way you guys behave you're probably related to NACY PELOSI. Anyway young man, you're a good dude. Keep doing what your doing and go into Davis Springs or Buhman canyon and you will get a buck.

1 pointGood luck on your last tag of the year donkeyman. I've hunted coues for over 20 years in southern az and I've only killed one booner. Even if your last tag is tag soup you've had a heck of a year.

1 pointI was going to write up more but there are too many variables to account for based on the limited information. If it were me, I would start by replacing the scope. I’ve had less than stellar results with anything Vortex, not trying to bash but rather inform you based on my own experiences. I don’t know from personal experience how your rifle groups but I know of at least one guy with that rifle and his shoots pretty well with factory ammo. There’s a few guys on here that may be local to you that could probably help, but being that it’s hunting season, most are probably going to be busy. You have to start with a good zero, that’s an absolute must before you can start cranking turrets and hitting the long targets. As far as chronographs go, they get you close but not exact. Search the internet for “trueing your muzzle velocity” there’s numerous write ups on the subject.
