I’ve spent a lot of time and money the last 5-10 years hoping to kill a big coues deer with my bow.. with the camera ban it seemed like it definitely wasn’t going to happen. The heat wave the last week I figured sitting water would pay off so I spent 5 days on tank with the most sign in the area hoping it would pay off and it did. This buck came in completely silent and by himself at 38 yards. He started broadside when I shot and nearly turned 90 degrees by the time the arrow reached him but it went in at a good angle and caught his vitals and ended in his spine. I knew he was big but couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw how heavy he was..

The last 10 days have been hot in SW Colorado but the temps drop Saturday for the muzzleloader bull opener. Hoping this weather pattern gets them going. Leaving tomorrow morning

Even if we don't see significant rain, Kay will help dislodge that dang High pressure area cranking up the temps. That H has been camped out over north central AZ for a week. We in central AZ will benifit starting tomorrow with cooler temps and some cloud cover. I'll take it and maybe a couple thunder bumpers too.

She’s getting closer and her projected track is getting a little more inland each day I look…

I’m running a kifaru reckoning which has 2 narrow sleeve/pockets running down the sides. One side for btx, other for tripod. It seems to balance pretty well.

These shouldn't last long. I am tempted but will let others grab them. If I didn't have 28k primers already, I would be all over them quick.

Heard the flattys are biting. Everybody has off Saturday evening so I'm gonna take the whole gang. Hopefully my little girl will lay hands on her first flathead. All she's ever seen are trout so I'm pretty stoked.

I have a triclawps that I am not interested in selling but you are more than welcome to borrow it for your son's hunt. I work in the Northwest valley (Vistancia) so could meet up most week days. -Tracy

14 weeks old and already hunting and doing great. Another client I have was guiding with his dog at 6 month old and was offered 10k for the pup.

Since you got meoptas 10s and El 12s I'd consider selling them and get the NL 12s. What unit?

12s and a spotter for me, for everything. I will be taking my sons 8s with me on my archery elk hunt though. Incase the 12s are too much.

I think it depends on what you want to kill. If you want to shoot a mature buck but are not picky about score I would just pack 12s. At most reasonable distances you can tell if it's a solid buck or not. If you are "trophy hunting and want to make sure you are shooting a 100" or better buck you will need a spotter. I ditched my 15s for 12s and I have never looked back. I would take 12s and a light weight spotter or just take 12s. That is my recommendation

Depends. If the terrain is extremely well suited to glassing long distances, my SLC 15s and STX 95 get the nod every time. If the terrain is mixed and not necessarily well suited to long distance glassing, my SLC 10s and STX 65 get the nod. If the terrain does not lend itself well to long distance glassing, my SLC 10s and Kowa 554 get the nod.

The guys at Arizona Weather Force https://arizonaweatherforce.com/ have been pretty scary accurate in the past, even correctly predicting storms weeks out. To join the webpage, you have to allow access to your location, so I glean info from their Facebook page <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FArizonaWeatherForce%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02SwbdRmT2saoicN6fstjD8P63qdW4Q7xJ5vGjA8pPhKYSZxpfSTYBmdrWSJnz5Gqil&show_text=true&width=500" width="500" height="600" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share"></iframe>

If the possesion is 45 than thats all you can have in the freezer, per license holder. Same for fish. It's not really that complicated unless you want it to be.
