After 2 years of preparation everything came together to harvest the ram of a lifetime in Alaska an 11 year old monarch! Hardest hunt I have ever done both physically and mentally. My pack was 60 lbs for the first 6 days sleeping bivvy style wherever we ended up each night. Out of 9 days it rained, sleeted, or snowed 6 of them. Ram down morning of day 7 and my pack went to 100+ pounds hiking 27 hours over 3 days to get out of the mountains. Truly an incredible adventure!

This wall has been shown a few times on this website but it has evolved a little bit over the years. My first is the one right above the antelope. We sold the house and all the mounts in various forms of storage at this time...

Have to start fining (these poopoo heads) storing their trailers up there and even those going back and forth on weekends scouting and hunting. Sorry can’t maintain a campsite just because you are going to come back up. Sticker at 2 weeks and start yanking them out at 3. Stack them along I40 for all I care with wheel locks on them until you pay your fine.

What species are you referring to? Deer will be and are better than elk. .. Coues should be really good.....

That seems like good service to me. It was probably backordered since day 1. At least they remembered you once they got it. blame Fauci.

You should be able to and you get first pick if you have the first hunt.

If you google it people are talking about it on virtually every major reloading forum. Powder Valley broke the news on social media yesterday. If you look at the Hodgdon website under every one of the Enduron powders there is a disclaimer saying "discontinued in 2022" https://shop.hodgdon.com/imr-enduron-4166/ Hodgdon doesn't make their own powders. They import them and relabel them. The Enduron line was made by General Dynamics, and the rumor is that they either can't or won't continue to supply it for private contracts.

Every bull I saw last weekend was rubbed clean. From what I’ve seen I’d say average to slightly above for growth. Elk are HEALTHY this year!

My first, and ONLY Coues deer. I am a muley hunter. Applied for the wrong number and drew a Coues tag back a long time ago. 2001 or 2002 I think. Being a Mule deer hunter, I had no clue what a Coues was supposed to look like. I saw this buck for 5 days and passed on him hoping for something big. On my last day to hunt, he was the biggest I had seen, so I hiked out and popped him. I was quite disappointed at how small he was. If I had only known then what I know now....and if I would have had the money to get a shoulder mount.....

Why not just go and have a shitty hunt if you’re never gonna get it again

I need to get my ruler, then I'll jump in on the conversation once I need to know where I stand.

I use a pair of carpet shoes the illegals leave in the desert. Not so much for being quiet but not leaving tracks of where I have been.
