Iā€™m no videographer but here is my 23N archery hunt. There are a ton of bulls in the unit. If you want a 375+ youā€™ll need some good scouting but itā€™s easily achievable. My only regret is shooting the first bull I had in range on day 2. Wish I would have hunted longer, but I was happy getting my bull DIY with my Dad by my side. Saw some monsters in there. I ran into A3 on day 2 of my pack out. Tried to wave them down to chat and give some help and they instead almost ran me off the road in their Ranger. I later found out 4 of their group of 5 hunters tagged out. The female who was in the Ranger with them did not.

I remember messaging you about that a while back. I think we are pretty far from each other.

Man.... giving up a tag that you'll likely never draw again? That's a worse decision than picking a bad woman.

Iā€™ve pretty much drawn every single tag Iā€™ve put in for this year so Iā€™m fairly certain Iā€™ll get a call. Yes thatā€™s a humble brag.

Lots of options since it's 5000sq' on nearly 5 commercial acres.. Kitchen and bathrooms are soon to be remodeled, the building sealed. One of the saving grace's is it was built using ol growth redwood, her bones are sound. Maybe some Airbnb, horse camp, tourist lodging to compliment the owners patented mines about 8 miles north. Open to suggestions. Worst part of the venture to date is the local hick click. All the neighbors are acting grateful the hotel is being saved and revitalizede. I've known some of these folks for decades. But at the same time they act like it's public land and they can meddle. Don't get me started on the utility companys, county and DOT. Thank goodness the new owner has the $ to keep a slew of lawyers, professionals, etc and can afford to keep a rather jolly disposition throughout.

You pretty much nailed it buddy. Morristown was once known as Castle Hot Springs Junction. The 16 room hotel was primarily built as a stop off, overnight location for wealthy tourists coming and going first by railroad then by stagecoach to Castle Hot Springs Resort. I've been driving by this place for over 40 years, drank at the bar in the 80's, now helping the new owner bring this 123 year old Arizona treasure back to life.

Don't they have a young camp for that hunt up on the north edge of the unit? I would look into it and stay there. Tons of help in those camps.

Yes and the Inflation Reduction act. Amazing how a culture that can't tell an innie from an outtie thinks they are going to control nature

Was just reading an article from the Las Vegas Journal, Lake Mead has risen 15" in the past week. They're partially crediting the wettest monsoon in decades for that. They must have some real brainiacs working there.

Yeah lot of tags in there but most of the pressure is close to the roads. Just look for a bit more rugged country that your average out of shape hunter wonā€™t go into and hike a mile or so into it and itā€™s a game changer.

It's one of those units that historically gets pounded. Plenty of deer and hunters too but most pull out on Sunday afternoon. There really are no secret spots as deer are all over. You have a leg up having been there before. Get out before sunrise and stay out all day. Plenty of illegals too so keep together.
