Replaced mine last November for the same reason….had two breakdowns , always on a weekend when it was 115+. Just got my APS bill for July, huge drop from last year at this time. If you can make it, wait till the fall when things slow down, probably get a price break.

Just want to give Leupold some credit where credit is due. Let a buddy who is a new hunter borrow my .270 for his first deer hunt. Took a bad spill and dropped my gun. Scope and stock got the worst of it. Called Leupold to see what we could do. No questions asked they put the parts I needed to fix the dented eyepiece in the mail. Received them yesterday and the eyepiece is back to normal. Service like that is becoming more rare and they still make their scopes right here in the USA! Bravo Leupold! I will always consider them when looking at optics!

Not Socal but had a good time fishing for 3 days out of Westport, WA this week. We did a combo rockfish/salmon trip day one and got limits of both mooching, herring for Coho in 50-100' of water and rockfish at 200.' Day 2 we trolled for salmon and picked up two nice kings along with limits of coho. The last day we tried for Albacore but it was a slow day, we got one take down trolling and hooked several more on a live bait once the troll fish was hooked up and we stopped. We ended up 3 fer 6, I had one on but mine popped off. I enjoyed this fishery and the little town of Westport and would fish it again for salmon and rockfish. We were blessed with calm seas and light winds every day too.

Just sent them in to Vortex to have them inspected and cleaned. Let me know what you have. I can add cash on my end if needed. Asking 375.00 Located in Tucson - can ship PM or Text 520-262-5747 with any questions.

Got 3” in Heber yesterday. Every time I went to go outside, it started again. Nice and green all over the rim. Elk should be fat this year.

I’m no videographer but here is my 23N archery hunt. There are a ton of bulls in the unit. If you want a 375+ you’ll need some good scouting but it’s easily achievable. My only regret is shooting the first bull I had in range on day 2. Wish I would have hunted longer, but I was happy getting my bull DIY with my Dad by my side. Saw some monsters in there. I ran into A3 on day 2 of my pack out. Tried to wave them down to chat and give some help and they instead almost ran me off the road in their Ranger. I later found out 4 of their group of 5 hunters tagged out. The female who was in the Ranger with them did not.

I shipped out a pair of leupold binos 2 weeks ago. They said to expect a new pair in 2-3 weeks because the repair shop was under construction. I sent my Swarovskis in the same day. A week later they tell me its going to cost $200 to fix them and it will be 4 weeks.

I had bought a muzzy in 2014 and had no real inspiration to start hunting with it .That year I had decided the time to put in for archery kibab was upon me and with 11 points. going into the draw I figured I'd get a tag.My buddy talked me into the elk muzzy draw .I had no plans to hunt.I was lucky and drew bolth tags .I hit a deer that year and we never found it.I had some time with the muzzy and was good to 150 and on opening day scored.Muzzys are different and take some time .I now have 5 Muzzys scoped and iron sights .

My brother and I had put in for muzzy antelope for about 6 years and I had never shot or owned a smoke pole. I always figured I would buy one and it would be fun to learn about it. I won a scoped muzzy at the elk banquet in 2005 or so and told my brother that night that I bet we get drawn now, and we did. I was also able to pick up an any elk tag and hunt elk while I was hunting antelope. G&F wanted the elk out of 2-b, and I was fortunate enough to tag one of each. 😍

I’m in the market for tires for my wife’s suv and I’m definitely leaning towards trying Costco out for the first time. Discount said they would match Costco prices, but then they charge you for the certs. Costco has a 5 year warranty on their tires included that is just as good as the ”certs” from Discount.
