Just want to give Leupold some credit where credit is due. Let a buddy who is a new hunter borrow my .270 for his first deer hunt. Took a bad spill and dropped my gun. Scope and stock got the worst of it. Called Leupold to see what we could do. No questions asked they put the parts I needed to fix the dented eyepiece in the mail. Received them yesterday and the eyepiece is back to normal. Service like that is becoming more rare and they still make their scopes right here in the USA! Bravo Leupold! I will always consider them when looking at optics!
Leupold helped me out with a redfield revolution scope on one of my rifles. My buddy dropped it too and dented the end of the scope at the objective lens. I sent it in and they repaired it no charge. That scope is now on a rifle I just put together for my son.
I’m in WY and the local sporting goods store has lots of ammo. Not sure how things are in AZ but I’ll be back to Phx and would be happy to bring some with me if it could help out a fellow CWT member.

After 54 years of marriage she left this world Tuesday from pancreatic cancer. Great person and kind and loving. Miss her a lot. Now I will finish the work on hand at my shop and buy a luxury fifth wheel. Going to stay in Tonto Basin with the bass boat for 7 months then up to the Oregon coast from May to September for the salmon runs. Buddies live on the Nehalem river and keep boats in the water. Just me and the dog. I already have old ladies calling me to go out to a movie or dinner. No thank you. I told one my wife has 30 pairs of very expensive shoes. She asked me what size! Beware of old widows boys.
I got real lucky and was able to snag a rifle tag for my self and a muzzy tag for my wife.
Ya'll quit talking about that muzzy hunt. I had arrowhead build me a fancy muzzleloader for that leftover list. Cost me 3 bucks a shot with that dang 209 powder
Never know what I’ll learn on CWT…on a thread about mailing tags no less.
I’ll file this one in the memory banks just in case. Lots of rays where we go in FL. Good stuff. LoL

If you want to see some desert sheep up close in person go to Boulder City Nevada May threw September the bighorns hangout in hemenway vally park every day. I have seen as many as 75 at one time there. This helped me as you can see all age class up close. Just a short drive from there is the muddy mountains unit 268 Nevada where the largest population of Desert sheep live. My brother had that tag in 2010 the biologist told me there were 1600 sheep their. I have been on this hunts four times now and have seen over 40 rams in a single day there when I had the tag. Go to Vegas for a weekend Evan just to see the park rams it will help you judge.

You need to look at all angles sheep hunting if score is your thing. They always look bigger from the back front and side view most important to see. my brother was hung up on score he wanted a 170 plus ram and got one, but said if he had to do it again he would take a prettier ram that wasn’t so broomed off longest is only 32.5 but lots of mass last quarter is over ten inches!
Chef, Glad you are doing well my friend.
Couple of spots I go to in Phoenix/Scottsdale are 1. Pizzeria Bianco, Lamp Pizza, and Grimaldi's. All Brick Oven Pizza
I hope you are getting some use out of those shooting bags.
Good Luck this season....
