Credit Card hit and first hit in two years! Really needed this one too as my father is getting to a point where he doesn't have very many trips left in the tank. Fingers crossed, he was feeling 17B so might be a late October hunt.

Some people cant live with not drawing tags, I put in for archery bull every year and now have 15 points, 6 now for deer, if your going to put in for quality hunts your going to have to wait like everyone else, and for god sakes please stop using the stupid restaurant and grocery analogy. It does not equate to a random chance at a tag. I will be content this year with my OTC archery deer hunt and late October trip to the WMAT for some big browns.

I got deer, my dad got deer, and 2 possibly 3 homies got rams. best draw cycle ever.

the "system" you want is a preference point system and will kill new hunter recruitment.... try telling your 10 year old they dont get to deer hunt till they're in their twenties so some old guy can go first. Everyone has a chance with our bonus point system, and therefore everyone and their brother applies. I have 6 points and didnt draw a turkey tag.... it is what it is. I used to draw a spring tag every year, until our state population exploded. Same with archery bull tags. If you like the preference point system, go to the states that have it, or start applying there. Every applicant has a chance, and as such some hope of drawing each and every draw.

AZ is an 80/20 split. You clearly don’t understand how the draw works. Do some research before you pop off next time.

Why we're petitioning things? Can you please change the lottery system, as in Powerball, scratchers, etc.? The same thing; I've been in line a long time and probably have spent more money than I should, just to have some newbie that's only bought one or two tickets win ahead of me - total crock... It should certainly go in order; enough is enough.

Op is whining about unfair as he and his kids have drawn tags that would be once in a lifetime tags with his proposed change just based on the pure # of people applying. With a crazy change like that my daughter would never really have a chance to draw a tag based on the number of animals and people applying.

You think Az is bad try putting in NM and have a dry streak with no light at the end of the tunnel.At least AZ can give you a good idea of when you are going to get a tag. Along with a chance along the way.

Dude no… I think you should probably research how the draw works again in regards to who/how the bonus pass works , and how the 10% non res part works. 10% do not automatically go to non res, it’s a cap not an allocation . And the bonus pass is exactly people who have most points getting tags
