I don’t know how anyone could stay home for the first 9 days of a archery bull hunt.

Don’t get caught up on moon phase. The dates are the dates. You can’t change that. Hunt when you can and hunt hard.

I have no skin in the game or beef against Duwane but where there is smoke there is fire. He could be the MOST law abiding outfitter in AZ but i would guess every outfitter in AZ violates a law from time to time. Not sure why so many people on here are fangirls. He probably had to bait because he couldn’t walk with so many people hangin on his nutsack (TH). When any allegations come up against other outfitters in AZ we hang them before the trial. Why the special treatment?

A recent phototrip with a couple of friends from Colorado had us in remote areas in northern Arizona. The first evening had us overlooking a beautiful section of the Painted Desert with its colored Chinle formation. The next evening was spent in a pinnacle-filled filled valley surrounded by walls of Moenave sandstone. The colors and striations of the sandstone are beautiful. A gallery of the images from the trip may be viewed on my website. https://www.plateaulightphotography.com/New-Work/Navajo-High-Desert/ There were a pair of feral llamas that the Navajos had used to protect their sheep from coyotes. Wonderful colors and markings in the sandstone.

Or, maybe he didn’t do anything wrong.

It was stated he took a plea deal. Which could mean deferred prosecution. I don’t believe that shows up unless you violate the agreement.

So basically from here on out if you don't buy PG+ you will have a snowballs chance in hades of getting the call for a returned tag if you are #51. But if you want to roll the dice on the slim chance of being in the pool of those with PG+ and falling in the say lower 5% of that bunch then you just might get the call "if" you fork over another $25. Every year we hear of a few people who get the next in line tag but those odds are so miniscule they almost immesurable. Veritable needle in a haystack.

If you only have 5 days to hunt and they are going to be consecutive days, my advice is hunt the last 5 days. Hunted it many times and the crowds clear out by the 2nd Sunday of the hunt. It will be a zoo opening weekend. If you are going to split them up, hunt the first two days and the last 3 days.

My problem isn't with game and fish trying to make more money. My problem is someone getting a tag based on the fact they paid extra money. I simply don't buy point guard because I know I'll make sure to use the tag I get. Now my chances of obtaining a tag is decreased if I don't pay more money

I don’t get why everyone has such a hard on against the game and fish making money. They’re the only state agency that has to self fund, so if they make more money, they can put it back into the resource we all love and cherish and then use the money they generate from that resource to make even more resource. I just wish they’d take their customer support to the next level. The NV game and fish isn’t ashamed to admit that they have a product and we are the consumer of it. They treat the applicant like a customer instead of someone that’s in the way of them getting to their lunch hour. We need more of that. More pride in what they are “selling” = a better business which = a better product. I spend a lot of money across different state agencies each year and don’t consider a penny of it ill spent as it goes to the second most important thing in my life after family.

Out of the tank was no problem. There was water up to the top. Getting it up in the truck was another question. It was about all I could do to not have a hernia. I would guess about 150lbs. Any heavier and I don't think I could do it without cutting it up first. I did my check at game and fish on Tuesday. I guessed it at 3-4 years old.The g&f guy thought a little older looking at the teeth.

In this image, the milky way arches over Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, Lee Mountain, Gibraltar, and Twin Buttes near Sedona. I had been wanting to make this night panorama for a few years, and finally spent a few hours in the dark. This is a blend of about 9 images for the starry sky, and about 9 exposures for the mountains taken about 45 minutes after sunset so some detail could be captured with less noise. The native file is about 27x54" without any enlargement. After a series of images to stitch into a long panorama was shot, the night was ended with this single exposure. The light on Courthouse Butte is due to the lights of the Village of Oak Creek Nikon D810, 24mm, f/2.8, ISO 6400, 20 sec.

This year my brother shot his buck at 600 yards and I was lucky enough to catch it on film. Shooting a 140grain factory Federal Premium accubond out of an old (90's) Browning A-Bolt in 7mm08. Plenty of you are shootin farther but we were pretty stoked to get it done at this distance. Here is a cliff hanger clip of it but click on the YouTube link to check out the full day of hunting, the 3rd episode in my 2020 YouTube Coues Hunt series. Enjoy!!! short clip instagram.mov
