Corner crossing IS LEGAL in AZ! I had an archery antelope tag in 2018 & was basically harassed by the ranch managers son on the Fain Ranch. I corner crossed to get to a water hole on state land & the "kid" ruined my afternoon hunt stating I had trespassed. He called the G&F who met him, then told him he was wrong & to leave hunters on state land alone or face prosecution. She (WM) left her business card on my truck asking me to call her that evening. I did & she told me corner crossing is legal in AZ & if he harassed me again I should press charges & the G& F will back me up. I was using OnX to do so as nothing was marked or fenced in the area. Feel free to PM me if need be.

Those who take active shooter are trained to engage the threat until he dies or essentially you do. No one knows how they'll act until they are in that kind of situation. And yes, God Bless BORTAC. This admin has painted them as demons but those guys put in the work so people can sleep safe at night.

I know our school has already reached out to parents for ideas. I would love to see doors on every classroom that are always locked and can only be opened by the teacher or a few master keys of some kind. Along with armed security. Shooting happen fast, but I think the idea of armed security would deter people from thinking schools are soft targets.

The article i read today said law enforcement engaged the shooter outside the school before he made entry. Then SWAT was called. But when the BP guy showed up he grabbed a couple dudes and made entry. The BP guy was shot three times and two more guys were shot. I've taken active shooter training. The whole point is seek and destroy the bad guy ASAP. So them waiting 40 minutes to make entry is crazy. There were also officers who were rescuing kids from other class rooms while the shooter was barricaded.

Love the attack pants as well. I wear them almost every day. Most comfortable pants I have ever worn.

Also they are way more comfortable than any pair of BDU’s!

The attack pants are the best pants they make. They are still $150 but I have some that are probably 10 years old. They were made in Canada back then but I think the newer stuff is a little better quality

My first year predator hunting, Had no spots and no experience, so after picking my uncles brain, lots of miles on the truck and getting a fox pro for my 17th bday I got a few predators thinned out. Never ended up getting my goal of a bobcat or lion but Now I have a life long obsession when I got no tags or hunts going on.

You must remember this is a little town. Nothing ever happens so doors are not locked, officers are not trained or equipped, and have little experience.

I know they can be scarce right now…. Anyone have any 209 primers they wanna sell or trade off? Or seen any for sale anywhere? Only ones I see online after hazmat etc were over $100/1000, not willing to pay that! For example I have some core lokt .308(that I’d give a lot of, don’t have a .308 anymore) or hornady precision hunter in 6.5, plus some other ammo I could trade, or I have cash. I’m in tucson.thanks

Tragic situation. I've heard it said, if you fail to plan you are planning to fail. For those saying "what can be done?" This FBI resource is a good start. You can use "ctrl f" to find keywords if you don't want to read the document in its entirety. https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/rems-k-12-guide-508.pdf It's a 75 page comprehensive plan that someone put a lot of time into creating and IMO should be reviewed and implemented at every school.

I wear Carhart double front pants for rifle coues. Attack pants for archery hunting. Gators really help preserve them in the brush. I wear the Tiburons for hot weather. Love the hip vents for dumping heat. I really like the Peloton 240 jacket too. I wait for sales to buy. Should be a Memorial Day sale coming up.

First seen Kuiu on an elk hunt around 2013 or so, uncle's client was a big shot for 3M and had on the rain gear, he kept disappearing in the binos every time he'd stop about 400yds out, pretty impressive pattern. Been "running" Kuiu since '15 when the attacks were a low low $109, most comfortable pant for the field or casual wear, and the materials perform as advertised. The layering system comes in handy for our crazy Az weather every time. Agree with some about recent changes in fitting or construction and really hate how they've jumped in price several times now. The Sandy Hook families sued Remington and won over 70M... But yes, I agree it's stupid.

Do yourself a favor and just buy a box of this stuff. Hands down the best 7mm08 brass on the market. Even more consistent than Lapua. https://www.bulletcentral.com/product/alpha-munitions-7mm-08-remington-brass/

Actually................I've heard you can drive into a crowded sidewalk at Christmas time and be just fine.........................

Now its being brought up that the parents sue DD. This is the dumbest thing I've heard. I have an SRT Challenger. I like Bud light. So, lets say I get drunk, get in the car, get in an accident and kill someone, are the families going to be able to sue Dodge for marketing a car that can go fast, and my good friends at Anheuser-Bush for making a product that made me reckless? Then, will the Dems demand that alcohol and fast cars be banned? Where does this end? God forbid if I were to do this in my truck! High capacity vehicle and all.....

They call for gun control but we needed security at every school in the nation at least 10 years ago. The secret service has a full report on how to stop school shootings, its similar to the security Israel uses for their schools. The article I read stated the terrorist go right after their children so they have fully fenced, gated with a single entry point and a metal detector with a highly trained armed guard at the gate. They stated they dont have school shootings in a country that averages 265 bombings a year. Gun control wont work the wacko will only change their preferred tool. We must stop them from entering the school grounds.

NRA convention is in Houston this weekend. The timing of this last string of shootings is odd. The last few years at the convention has been very low on anti gun protests. I think I've seen maybe 10 people total. Wonder if thats going to change.
