The Aspen Lodge in Alpine AZ has been purchased by a California couple about 2 years ago. They have become the epicenter of support for leaving the feral horses that have invaded the Apache forest alone. We, as hunters recognize the destruction that the horses have caused all across the state, but this business has refused to acknowledge the damage the horses have created and have welcomed the Salt River Wild Horse Management group to their facility. They are actively supporting leaving the horses alone and letting them continue to breed and multiply. There are other businesses where we as sportsmen can spend our dollars. It is my hope that word of their ignorant support of feral horses becomes a business detriment to them. If you are planning summer trips, a lodge to spend your evenings in during hunts.......Locate another business. Nice bow, new string last year, has QAD drop away, trophy ridge react 5 pin site and Mathews quiver. Bow shoots super smooth, not a super fast bow but great shooting. New, never fired Remington 700 Long Range in 7 Mag. I bought it a few years back, had a brake installed and never got around to doing anything more with it. Also have a Weaver 20MOA base. Asking $800 or possible trade for lever action 38/357.

Hi all, I am selling things to get an addition built on the house. This is a 97 TJ, 4.0 6 cyl, 5 speed manual, Small lift, hard top + bikini top. 165k miles. AC/heat works well, no check engine lights, abs comes and goes. No radio but it has a nice roll cage, and body armed plates. Tires are just a bit over a year old and in great shape. I got them right before the 2020 deer hunt and they haven’t had many miles. Currently it doesn’t have a front bumper, I will toss one on if i can find one before it sells. Note the bottom of the hard top in the back has slight damage. The previous owner said he bought this top from a body shop. The jeep it was on was rear ended and that was part of the damage. asking 9k on CL but tell me your from here and let’s work something out. Brian 623-693-3205

Fished saguaro last Friday morning. Caught 17 largemouth biggest 4.8 most where 2 and 3 pounds . All from my kayak by butcher Jones. Crank baiting a crawdad colored 5 to 10 foot deep running fat rap. Algae isnt real bad

We talked about my goals for the 280 build and twist rates .I'm still going to build it and will be ordering the proof barrel and trigger in July after my hunt in June.As for prdatars question on twist .I'll have to check as I don't remember off the top of my head.But Keith and I had a conversation about what I'd be shooting and I didn't want to go above the 140's so it was built to run the lighter stuff.The case volume in the Ackley will let me run 168's and 175's with a 9 twist no problem and the brass life will be better I've heard.

I went with A3 last year after calling many outfitters and it worked out great. Amazing people and a great value. (Less expensive then most the outfitters I called) I ended up getting a dandy with them on my late hunt.

Did a 1 3/4 day a few weeks ago with my daughters. Slayed the bluefin 40-100 lbs. Limited out for both days the first night. Get out there guys, it is a great year!

Those crazy Californians say they have to get out of California because of what it’s become then move to another state only to do the same stupid %@#$ they were doing in CA. Why not just stay in California where no one cares what you do ? Worst thing I see in the mountain town I live in is a vehicle driving through with California tags……please just be passing through, we don’t care how it’s done in California !

While fighting the wind last Saturday looking for deer I turned my attention to the cliffs and found 8 desert bighorn sheep, 4 of them being rams. I’m not a sheep expert, but one of them seemed to be a real tank! I was able to watch them for about 2 hours. They are such amazing animals. Totally made my day. Video was taken with my phoneskope through my Zeiss Conquest 10x42 at 1040 yards. Video is a little shaky due to the wind. Hopefully the quality isn’t diminished during the upload.
