Tessa was able to take this axis deer in Texas. She was able to sit a water hole where a herd showed up at last light. She made quick work of the axis buck. Looking forward to trying the meat from it. Her oryx has been amazing and I have been told that the axis is even better

To be on the up and up Classifieds sales should all have to be public with no texts. I have been burnt a few times when I was the first one to post an "I'll Take it" or an offer only to have the OP come back and say someone replied in a PM so I sold it to them. It happened again about a week ago. Just frustrating as all get out.

I went to Texas in late February and was lucky enough to shoot a axis doe. Gorgeous critters and absolutely delicious.

I think the first "I'll take it" on the public forum should win . "Pm sent" could be a ? Or a price negotiation or who knows what.

I have a 5lb 4 oz rifle that shoots under 1/2”. This rifle can do it. Did you mean you say you’d like to see the shooter who can run 1000yds with a sub 6 lb rifle?

Great job. I've heard Axis is the best tasting but haven't had it. If it is a good as Pronghorn it should be a 10. Arizona is such a small State compared to Texas but I wish we had them here and would love to hunt them.

I heard in Duwane Adams camp they use a bull call to locate and thats it. Then just move in and try and get eyes on them. Callings risky these days imo. Too many people trying but not knowing how to do it properly i think.

I pulled him out last night. Turns out he is the son of a Nigerian prince. He was so grateful that he is going to leave me and my family a bunch of money for my kindness. Sucks to be you guys! Are those NL’s still for sale in the classifieds?

I built a 28 Nosler through Owens Armory. I didn’t want to have to build multiple rifles to hunt different species so I had a rifle built that I could use for everything. I had it chambered to shoot the longer heavier bullets. Defiance AnTi X action McMillan Game warden carbon stock Proof barrel Area 419 break TriggerTech Diamond trigger NightForce NX-8 scope Could have pinched the weight a little more if I wanted but thought it would be a compromise with a magnum cartridge while still being packable. Now if I could actually find powder/bullets/primers to actually work up a load

I would build a 25 CM (I just had a 25SST built from Todd South that is about perfect except it maybe too much for ONLY Coues) You could get away with less if Coues was your only game. MY 25SST should hammer elk out to 800+ right now it has only killed a bull at just under 400 yards. I have a 25CM that has killed lots of Coues but it isn't a pack gun. So I would go with the 25CM caliber but built how I had my 25 SST built. Defiance AnTI action I love my proof barrel but I've heard they have had some recent issues with QC. 1:7.5 20-22" with suppresor. 135 Berger or 131 blackjack, I've been extremely happy with the performance on game. I really like my AG alpine hunter stock Triggertech Tangent Theta 315m Lots of Lances influence on the above build. I chose them for overall light weight but not compromising long range if necessary. I also like the 25 calibers because they have some of the best BC bullets available and not everyone is shooting them. Can't resist to post critters again. My 25 CM My 25sst

Agree 100%! I owned 2 Polaris Rangers before the Honda, and always had problems and replacing wheel bearings, bushings, ball joints, axles, sensors, etc, etc. There are many great things about the Pioneer, and because of the reliability of HONDA, was why I chose it for hunting. There are also a lot of things it lacked as a stock machine, which is why I did everything I could to make it better for my needs- Hunting and Family rides, and not having to worry about being 80-100 miles away from help, and having a break down or major problems. I’ve been super impressed with the Reliability!! #1 reason I chose it!
