Yeah and partying like it's 1999. Screw him and all his ilk. Haven't watched the Oscars in decades, never will again. Not as long as there's Gunsmoke or Gilligan's Island repeats.

Looking for good used wall tent canvases at affordable prices for a friend. No frames necessary. Friend is recreating a 19th century gold camp on her patented claim. People will be able to come out and realize a realistic prospecting scenario much like our pioneers did. Please PM Thanks, Tumbleweed Tim

I preferred the African Cichlids. Man, they were aggressive when I dumped the goldfish in. Feeding frenzy!

I've built hundreds of sliding or cantalever gates but on the west side. Cheapest way to achieve a dyi auto opener is to use a garage door opener with remote.

Weatherby magnums are generally at the highest velocity for each caliber bullet their cartridges for factory stuff. But, they aren’t designed for the high ballistic coefficient bulllets, except the new 6.5/300 or whatever it’s called. Velocity alone is important out to about 500, after that the ballistic coefficient starts to matter more as the drag on the bullet slows it down. A flat base 60 grain .243 bullet will get to 500 yards faster than a 105 grain .243 bullet, but the 105 grain bullet is more aerodynamic so ultimately there is a point at which the 60 grain slows down but the 105 keeps going because of the difference in drag. For long range, heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets for caliber are better. Similarly, if you shoot a 140 .308 bullet at the same velocity as a 140 .264 bullet, the .264 bullet has a higher ballistic coefficient because it is longer. The .308 will have higher velocity but it also slows down faster. If you want to shoot long range, the best cartridges are ones that are designed to shoot a high BC bullet. High BC bullets require a faster twist barrel, typically. So, a .260 REM, though very similar to 6.5 Creedmoor, typically doesn’t have the barrel twist or factory loaded ammo for high BC bullets. Long Range is what has spawned many newer cartridges that are factory designed for the bullets and improvements in case and powder design. Those are the newer cartridges like 6 creedmoor, 6.5 creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, the Noslers, 6.8 Western, 280 AI, etc.

Just wanted to give a good review here. mfernaz had a nice product at a very fair price and communicated well. I would definitely do business with him again.

Caught this flathead at Bartlett this morning on a chatter bait, my scale only went up to 20 pounds, how much do you think this thing weighs, this is the first flathead I've ever caught
  15. 1 point
I let it go, I wish I had a scale that went that high, I'm guessing it had to be at least 40 lbs it was heavy, when I tossed it back it was like someone doing a cannon ball off the boat, it splashed all of us. I was jigging that chatter bait off the bottom when I hooked into it, I told my son to get the net, after a minute I told him it has to be a catfish because they don't have bass in Bartlett this big, after a few minutes it showed itself for a second before making a big run, when I saw it I said you might as well put the net down it ain't big enough ha ha. I've never seen a mouth on a fish that big, my chatter bait looked tiny in there, it was an awesome experience.

You join and your first post is asking for areas to hunt. Makes you wonder why?

You’re missing the point about not crapping in ads. Enjoy the rtic. They are great coolers for the $

Not into them personally. I have a 65qt Artic I paid $153 delivered about 5 years ago. That seems like a chunk of change for a itty bitty cooler. GLWS.

Elk top to bottom, you don’t need suggestions, if you can’t find elk on that hunt you need to take up fishing.

The fastest cartridge is undoubtedly the 6.5 CM. It must shoot at least 6,000fps.

Sometimes its a good thing that an old post gets revived, this is that time of year when we sell/trade gear to fit our needs.

We need to get a weekend and camp and box. Like cage match. If you got beef with someone, you have to show up box. We could make side bets and side fights, like thow a bladed rooster in the ring, shoot tranqed darts at boxers etc.... We can get a food truck, some beer and have a great weekend out of it.
