My card did not get hit but I got a call from Epic Outdoors yesterday telling me I won there 2022 Acoma Indian reservation elk hunt in the prime of the rut .Awesome I get to hunt rutting bulls in New Mexico September 26-30

Well this year had two firsts for my boy. He drew his first archery javelina tag and his excitement began. After track practice he would come home and shoot his bow to knock the rust off since he had not been shooting it in a while. When we were able to get out in between track practices and meets, he shot his first javelina at 9am. We ended up stocking into 20 yards and waiting for the two pigs to come out of the brush to try to get a shot. After 10 minutes the pigs ended up feeding towards us. We waited them out and the bigger of the two walk out at 10 yards. Curtis ended up drawing his bow while the javelina was behind the last bush. After 3 long minutes of holding at full draw the boar walked into the gap and boy made a really good shot. We watch the boar go down after about 15 yards. After lots of smiles and a big hug we went and got his first javelina and first kill with a bow. Made a ton of memories that day we will not soon forget. Bonus picture of the last 8 inches of his broken off arrow in inside the ribs.

They're probably first waiting to see if Newberg or Bob! calls to book a real hunter! jk btw. Good luck OP.

Got home from work today and the card was hit on the 3rd.. today, so either muzzy bull or rifle cow for my son and I.

The real frustration is the momentary transition between binos up and seeing glasses back on and then seeing glasses back off and binos back up!!! Course not drawing a tag really hinders my glassing ability!!!

I also have to remove my glasses to use binos, or at least to use them effectively. My problem is that even with the eye cups of most binos screwed all the way in, the lenses of my glasses will hit the lens of the binos before I can get my eyes close enough to the binos for the correct eye relief. If it's just a quick glance through the binos freehand I can make do, but I end up just taking my glasses off to glass from the tripod for long periods of time. It's a hassle, but it's the only way I've been able to glass comfortably. As others mentioned I've been able to adjust my binos to see perfectly without my glasses.

Ya, I probably took a tag from Some one's 80 year old Grandma. I will be there Hunting. I am a more serious and better Hunter than 95% of the clowns on here. Amazing how Imature many adults on here are. You guys can blast me all you want. Doesn't bother me. I aint been on here in 4 months and won't be again. Nothing but bashing and no info .Like I said before most of the Great hunters don't even come on here or Quit. To all the Great people on here good luck..........................BOB!
