While fighting the wind last Saturday looking for deer I turned my attention to the cliffs and found 8 desert bighorn sheep, 4 of them being rams. I’m not a sheep expert, but one of them seemed to be a real tank! I was able to watch them for about 2 hours. They are such amazing animals. Totally made my day. Video was taken with my phoneskope through my Zeiss Conquest 10x42 at 1040 yards. Video is a little shaky due to the wind. Hopefully the quality isn’t diminished during the upload. We had bad weather on opening weekend and got lucky on the second weekend. We were able to glass the herd bedded under an oak at 7:30 am and the herd didn’t get up til 9:45 am. Once they started feeding we began our stalk. Pops got off a 19 yard shot with the crossbow and I was able to get a 15 yard shot with the recurve.

I was out hunting unit 21. I've been seeing multiple bucks on a daily basis since Saturday. Today I sitting mid level on a hill glassing. All of a sudden two A10 Thubderbolts go flying by NAP of the Earth style, I'd say about 300 to 500 ft AGL. Was a sight to see. By the time I got my camera out they were gone along with the roar of freedom!

I was putting a stalk on him but some other guys roared up in two trucks. Trying to road hunt him I guess and he ran off. Guess that's what I get for hunting close to roads. PXL_20220107_145230001~3.mp4

I've worked with two of these over the years. The tolerances of each assembly was as tight and fine as I've seen on a production rifle. And when it came to developing loads, the first was a consistent 1/2" shooter and the second did even better. Good luck with the sale!

These ain't eastern whitetail, stop counting eyeguards as points. That ain't no "levy" it's a dirt tank. Mags ain't "clips." AZ ain't got no "streams." If it's wet it's a river, if it's wide and dry, still a river. We ain't got washes, it's pronounced "warsh" or "warshes. " In the southern units, undocumented foriegher is an "illegal."

Same thing. See a ton out there when elk hunting. Getting a tag has been the bigger issue

23 years ago I put in for an easy to draw unit and went hunting. I cant imagine waiting 23 years to go hunting.

With 23 points, 4b late rifle should be a lock.
