Anyone on here do much of this freediving style? I did some 3 prong for the first time on a recent trip to Hawaii with some young hawaiin guys that were really good and man, so much fun. I'm sure a part of it was that I was in some of the clearest water with the highest density and diversity of fish of anywhere on earth, but it would be fun to get into some here in AZ. I learned to relieve the ear pressure and be able to dive down much deeper than I previously could, maybe got to around 25 feet. The regs allow spearing for carp, buff, and talapia state wide, and Mead, Powell, Pleasant and only the northern part of Lake Mohave for Stripers. It seems like alot of times the water in alot of the lakes isn't clear enough to be able to see very far, which would obviously make it very difficult. Anyone done much of this in AZ and have any tricks, time of year, locations etc? I'm in Kingman so Mohave is the closest to me.

Well I wanted to post some pics from Alaska but most are jacked up and sideways, going to need to edit them with something on my computer first I guess.

4x4, Warn hubs, new tires BF Goodrich with spare. Extra 4 stock rims w good tires. AC blows, little rust, main seal leaks some, which also blows. 5spd, Jensen stereo. GN, trailer package. Only blemish, ol lady kissed a pole barn doing about 40mph backwards. Custom exhaust new clutch. Only 300k miles. No lowballers, no haggle, I know what I have. $37500 cash or trade for 2020 Dodge Cummins with similar equipment.

Cool old thread, before my time on here. I don’t remember thinking up the name, I have and live Mules and started out backpack hunting so put the two together and Mulepackhunter. Most people think it’s due to the pack of Mules but it’s actually my two favorite types. Runnin Mules in and runnin backpacks in. Regardless you won’t see me near the road much.

You can get service at the edge of the canyon on the Kaibab. I would have done my bison hunt but it was boring AF.

I don't think anyone was hating on it. It is just that anytime anyone comments or asks questions about a bull or buck antlers, the "you can't eat the horns" guys come out of the woodwork to let you know what an evolved (dare I say "woke") hunter they are. Congrats to the hunter, I am sure he is happy with this bull. He should be if it met his goals for the hunt. If I drew the once in 10,000+ hunter's lifetime statewide year long raffle tag (since I won't be buying an auction tag anytime soon), I'd be taking it up to the last day holding out for a 400"+ bull, especially if I had hired one of the big outfitters in the state. For the amount of money he likely spent, he could have bought a whole lot of beef. So I don't buy the "can't eat the antlers" argument in these (or most any) situation. Regardless, it doesn't mean the rest of us can't or shouldn't be able to discuss it. I think the size of this bull makes for interesting conversation about the current droughted state of our wildlife, raffle and auctions tags, etc.

Can your shoot less poundage? I tore a ligament, dropped 7-8lbs and was able to shoot just fine. Even if you go down to 50lbs still lethal. I get confused on all the xbow and air bow guys that can’t shoot 50lbs but can hold up a trophy bull.

After ranging twice I settle my 3rd pin (sighted exactly in at 45 yards) on him and I release. I hear the thump of a hit. I notice a smaller buck running along side monica as chaos breaks loose, like I tried to assassinate the president. Bucks are running everywhere. I keep an eye on monica making sure I dont lose site knowing he/she will go down any second. I go to where I shot and look for my arrow. Nothing. no blood. I go to where I last see them and find a piled up deer and say to myself finally. I look at the horns and go where is the rest of it. For a fleeting second I wont lie to you and say I didnt consider going after the big buck. Apparently when I ranged the second time and the seconds it took to reaquire the target the little guy stepped in front of his dad enough to take an arrow to the face. I sat there reminiscing over the past couple of weeks. the bucks I missed, passed and seen and just laughed. Here is my monster strip buck. Hope you guys enjoyed the ride. the ending wasnt what I expecting either.
