Why bang 100lb hot girls when you can bang 180lb whales. Cuz it’s better.

Toyotas are the most reliable of any vehicle out there, they lack in comfort possibly and technology and cutting edge equipment, but they can't be beat with reliability. Even with nasty off road use. I'll never say they are the best for everyone, but if you want something that will run and run forever with little to no maintenance it is a Toyota. So it really depends on what you want. That being said my wife bought a used (2014) Sequoia in 2017 and it was still pretty expensive, it has over 210k on it now and is a daily driver of 60-100 miles a day, and she could still sell it for a pile of cash. Everything works great still and she absolutely loves it. Ours does not have the locking rear diff, that is usually on the tacomas and 4runners, but maybe some of the sequoias have them also. I'm not sure. Haven't been in the market for a new one.

Couldn't take another day at my job, walked from it on the 24th of last month. Kicked around the idea of retiring or going back to work at something else. I retired on the 20th of this month. Probably going to get a part time job for something to do, but for right now every time I get the urge to do something I go lay down til the urge goes away!

This 6x6 bull was hanging by the roadside in GCNP yesterday. Such a poser for all the tourons. Wonder if he will make it out into unit 9 to chase the ladies.

I've killed a lot of deer with a 2007 diamond black ice. Finally upgraded last year but I'll never get rid of my black ice. Bump for a great bow

Well, this is sorta good news. Maybe people will stop coming in droves... https://www.abc15.com/news/business/desert-in-distress-new-study-ranks-arizona-as-worst-place-to-live-in-2021

Guess you know more than most OTC non resident hunters about what the deer are doing in different units here in Arizona. Just go to game and fish website. Use all the info they provide on each unit. Have fun enjoying the sunshine state.

Worth it? It depends on what you’re looking for. We used to get off work at 2am Thursday, drive up, shoot birds, eat lunch at the lodge, sleep and drive home. Later when my kids grew up we would make a weekend trip out of it. Both kids have had great big game tags since then but always remember the Kaibab turkey trips. There’s nothing like early October in the Kaibab. Priceless. If worth is measured in money then definitely not worth it. You will spend 300 on gas, 100 in food for a 7 pound hen or 12 pound Tom.

I’m not sure why the dudes who love Mexico are trying so hard to convince all the chickens that it’s safe. heck, I think I might start posting about how dangerous Wyoming is. Would love it if half the people who hunt there got scared and chickened out.

You have blinders on along with many others who go down there. You keep going you will have trouble. I have been stopped by federales in the field multiple times, state police multiple times, cartel too many times. Cartel banishing automatic weapons and bags of weed. Police Helicopters buzzing and cessnas flying overhead. Bribing the military at the border...so so many other things that can and do go wrong. How's that for an experience you pay for. For what? 110" buck? Seems like these days a 100" buck. Not to mention being screwed out of $$$$.$$'s. We only hear a small fraction of the problems as guides and ranchers keep a lid on it. Never going again!

Yeah.. robbed by the Federales on the road on the way back from Rocky Point. Wasn't personal. They robbed everyone. But I'm 1776% sure I'm not going to get robbed in Mexico again. And it sucked- Loved the people. Was a long time ago, but it sticks with ya.

My personal method for breaking in a factory barrel: 1. Load up 6-10 at a medium light charge weight for sighters/foulers. Load up 15-21 rounds in 3 round groups .5gr apart. Go to the range, sight in, and shoot the charge weight test loads for groups. 2. Clean after that range trip. 3. Pick the best charge weight load and Load up seating depth test loads, usually 5-6 course seating loads, 3 each at .020" deeper seating depths. Go shoot those for groups. 4. Load up the best of the seating depth, maybev15ish, and go shoot at distance. 5. Clean barrel. 6. Load up 100 or so, and have at it. Clean when groups open up. Maybe 50, maybe 500. My personal method for breaking in a custom barrel: 1. Shoot one 2. Repeat
