Honestly I thought the same as lance. Thought he was an old dude just based off the things he said. I thought he was straight from the 60s with some of his comments. Some days he made me laugh, some days he just pissed me off, and then eventually made me laugh again. But most of all I saw how much he loved his kids and how proud of them he was. Although he was for sure a polarizing individual if there is a legacy I would want to leave behind it's gonna be the same as him, the love I had for my family. Whether you loved him or hated him one thing you could never take away from the guy was how much he loved his kiddos. For that I will most definitely raise a drink in his honor tonight. Rest in piece delw.
Went to the park by my house and picked a pot full of tunas. Boiled them, juiced them, 1:1 juice:sugar boil down, I always get cazadores tequila cuz cheap and yo soy cazador. ice, triple sec, lime, sugar on the rim
I’m not too worried about people taking advantage of the situation. I figure there are funner ways to go to he11, than ripping off a guy trying to help kids. 🤣
to my knowledge this has helped 3 kids so far. I can’t take all the credit, there are others who are helping
I have reloading components that I’d be willing to donate to anyone who has a child/ren with big game tags this year and finding it difficult to obtain these components. I have powder, bullets, primers, and brass. I live in AZ and happy to deliver or ship components at my expense. I’m so sick and tired of these businesses and some folks on here ripping people off and gouging us for supplies. My kids have several tags this year and know how difficult it is to find what is needed to ensure they have ammo to hunt with.
Here are the cartridges I reload for. If you need anything for your kid/s hunt, please send me a PM

I drove to the top of Madera peak a couple days ago to inspect the tower. It is pretty desolate. There is a little bit of new growth in a couple spots but nothing substantial. That fire burned HOT. I do not think it is going to green up a whole lot this year
Just purchased a Ruger .357 at the Sportsmans Warehouse Ruger sale a couple weeks. I hope I can find ammo in time for HAM hunt in February. I'm not very optimistic as long as we have hoarders and ammo hogs.
Dadof3, I too assumed you were talking about the youth hunt. You are so right about the circular firing squad! I’ve been lurking on this forum for about 20 years and have for the most part done just that because many on the forum know it all. You are so right that we need to stick together in times like this! Well said and you and the kiddos have a great hunt!
It’s funny how hunters can be a circular firing squad. It was explained to me by the purchasing agent and the areas Bioligist this was an either specie tag. The negativity dissuades so many people from posting. I will be the first to admit I don’t know it all. I’m a lifetime student. Every state is so different with rules and regulations it can dizzying especially if you are applying in multiple states. Thankful for the positive input. Let’s remember our sport is under constant assault and we need to stick together regardless of how we hunt with rifles bows, crossbows, heck even a rock for all I care.
I didn't realize anyone that supported hunting, fishing and firearms shopped at REI. I know the Sierra club (One of REI's larger contributions/grant partners) has done somewhat of an 180 on their support of some hunting and fishing over the last few years but still not a group I would say is supportive. I can see using them as a catalog store though...
Not the lakes you mentioned but I can confirm Willow Springs is low and Black Canyon launch is way out of the water.
We caught and released a couple footballs fishing big baits this past weekend.
Tuned in for a Show Low family trip later in July. Thx.
