Drew my second choice 37A! I had the 2100 taken out but I still wasn’t sure how game and fish was gonna play it out if they had screw up and we’re gonna give tags back to maybe people who had the incorrect balance. Finally got to be 100% when I seen it this morning. I wasn’t expecting this tag for another 20/30 years. Ready to get behind some glass

Say what you want, Burnt timber kill kills slobs just about every year. Solid outfit that consistently puts mature animals on the ground. Last year they had a great year and produced some solid bucks, some of which, were over 190" if score matters to you. 3a/3c has a good population of decent bucks, with multiple bucks in the 180+ range coming out each year. High deer densities with the potential for a jumbo.

There’s a ton of tags that you could have drawn this year. You just chose not to apply for those. Short of pronghorn you could have a tag for every single one of those species this year but you picked hunts that were more desirable and therefore took a risk of not drawing and you didn’t. Simple as that.

My son has outgrown yet another pair of boots... I got 'em at Sam's Club, Eddie Bauer brand. Maybe 20 miles on these. Pickup near 35th Ave and Thunderbird in NW Phoenix. I'll be in Oro Valley near Tangerine and 1st Ave on the 23rd if they are still available then and someone in T-town wants them. FREE

There’s a lot of “nice” bucks there, it’s good hunting. When I had the tag I saw one big buck and many 130-140 bucks. You see lots of deer. But theres definitely as big or bigger deer in the desert than in 3a3c. But much harder hunting.

I may try it one of these times. I shot a bobcat last year and my buddy was trying to talk me into eating but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I won't consider coyote though.

The better one is which ever one you were lucky enough to draw.

You had a hunter safety and loyalty? you applied this year with 4 points for general season coues and didn’t get drawn?

HUSH, Randy Newberg, and Meat Eater are the top 3 that were paid. Most was OTC, or 100% draw units down south! Watch 1 episode of Randy s show and every 2 minutes he s trying to sell guys on the otc 🤮. I applied for a 100% draw unit last year and didn t draw this year. Gonna be a year or two before otc is GONE. Not sure bout down south, but OTC units up north had more out of state plates then AZ plates, Just what I saw anyway!

I'd rather see g&f spend a little on hunter Ed courses to promote hunting in az.

Actually I'd give up a gnarly canyon than a dove spot. Reason being that most people won't ever go back there but the same person will bring five people the next weekend 3/4's of who have never even shot a dove before and won't eat them and leave a mess and shoot in the direction of everyone else. Plenty of places in Texas to go shoot doves for a fee and if your pockets are deep enough there is Argentina. You can always go to Stanfield, Gila Bend, Red Rock or Yuma. But you need to start scouting now and not put it off until the last week of August. Work for those spots and post pictures, Then just maybe people will invite you to hunt their spots.
