Should it worry us that there was significant opposition to the ban yet they voted unanimously? Why bother with comment periods? Seems eerily familiar to a presidential election where the outcome seems to be established before the voting began.

Here's a few videos. First 2 are from January. 3rd is from last Oct. First buck is one I've been after for 4 years. Wouldn't score very high but he's still a stud. I'm thinking he should be 8 or 9 this year if he's still alive. Second buck is one on my hit list. Weak backs but great fronts. He could end up being a monster in the next couple years if he could get some nourishment. Third buck is from a fairly new unit to me. We killed two awesome bucks on the rifle hunt there but I couldn't find this buck on that hunt. He's got amazing potential. Sorry about the whistles... lol. I was trying to get him to turn his head. No idea what Payson costs, I just wanted chime in and encourage you to get the he!! out of the valley. Other than a couple years in Wyoming and 4 years in the Corps, I lived in the valley my entire life. 40 years. Best thing I've ever done is get out of there permanently. I still travel to Phx for work sporadically and now I REALLY notice how bad it is. Everything you described in your original post. Pima isn't a ton cooler but MUCH smaller. I love it. Do it and never look back!!!!

The real problem is too many people comming from communists states bringing their bad ideas and ruining clean and free states. We can joke about all the crap. But it will happen.

I'm going to add this and then I'm going to move on from this topic. It's a done deal regardless of the debate. It's kind of a waste of time at this point. I hope we can all move on from this. I'm finding there are some really smart guys on both sides of the debate. For the guys that I went back and forth with, I'm leaving all that here. I don't take any of it personal and I hope you don't. One positive that will come from this is guys are gonna have to scout and hunt harder. That's NEVER a bad thing. I believe A3 has over a 1000 camera on the strip. I know for a fact they have hundreds in southern units just to locate coues bucks. If this eliminates that I’ll be very happy.

Woman only hunt or are involved in anything related to hunting due to Father, husband or boyfriend. I don not know of nor met a single female hunter that has taken up hunting on their own and stuck with it. I doubt they even know how to apply and when to apply. Most woman stop once they have been married for a while or grow up. My wife used to go hunting and stopped going once we had kids. My two daughters have hunted and even taken big game but they only hunted because they wanted to be with dad. If men are being honest they probably have similar stories. Answer this question: if the male figure was not around would the female "hunter" still continue hunting? My opinion but I doubt it. I think females like the outdoors and like seeing animals but they are not into the 'blood sports".

Watch. The next thing will be...no hunting within 1/4 mile of a water source. Works on the Big Bo, so that is my guess. Everyone's posts on here about the tanks getting mobbed are just fuel for the smoldering fire.

95% of DIY guys don't use a camera in a significant way as to help them be successful so how is it going to hurt them? About 95% of guides do use cameras in a significant way as to help them be successful. 15 years ago if a DIY guy wanted the best chance of success he either went up and scouted or hired an outfitter. Now if a DIY guy wants to be successful he goes and scouts or hires an outfitter. Only difference is now the outfitters don't know the exact time and place the biggest bucks and bulls are drinking every single day for months on end. The animals have a fighting chance now and the majority of DIY guys that never used a camera anyway will have a much more level playing field. And overall mature animals being killed will go down on both sides.

No insight on the cost of living in Payson but good on you for getting out of this hellhole. I hate it more every day. The older i get the more i realize humans aren’t supposed to live like this.

This is what I did with my coues. If you really want to distinguish it put cactus as part of the habitat. Kinda depends what unit you shot it in too. If you have pictures of the landscape where you hunted maybe provide them to the taxidermist so they can select habit for the mount that matches.
