I occasionally see Amanda's updates on FB. As of this morning she was fine. It's sort of amusing that she doesn't visit her own site very often. Probably can't blame her, tho. 😂

Phoenix people are spoiled. Don't you know "The Valley" runs the world and the rest of you suckers are just living in it? Its like the hunger games, Phoenix is the capitol and the rest of the state exists for their entertainment. The only reason to hold an event outside of the capitol is to suppress the all powerful people there. Payson happens to be the same amount of drive time from my home as Carefree. Unfortunately I am already headed to the Kaibab. Oh well, I don't have a dog in this fight anyway.

Heat wave huh? Was up at 10.3k ft in the sierras in the afternoon fishing and got to the cabin at 8,600 with a snow storm.

Hunted 12 days over salt and although sounds easy this was one of the hardest hunts I have ever been on. All I can say is this hunt will test your mental toughness to the max! Special thanks to my dad for being by my side the whole way and keeping me going and special Thanks to Russ Jacob and Laura Jacoby for all the help!

Probably the same reason that forums about arts and crafts are filled with women. Forums for craft beer are men. Most girls are not interested in hunting and shooting even though TV and marketing is pushing the women hunter thing. You drawn an elk tag in "x" unit, you put cameras up in "x" unit. AZGFD officer catches you just checking your camera and checks in data base and realizes you have an elk tag. He now rights citation for take claiming you are using camera to pursue wildlife. You now spend thousands of dollars in attorney fees hoping judge doesn't go with definition of "take."

We all know Game And Fish is undermanned and underpaid... the wardens I talk to have trouble keeping up with monitoring their unit right now. They don't have time to be chasing down "illegal camera reports". unfortunately I see this as just something else that keeps them from chasing down real poachers.

I would imagine Josiah is in Payson with a pocket full of onions, getting ready to state his case. This rule is going to be a step in the right direction.
