the only time I'm a " Minimalist" is when I goto a hotel and thats the way I like it ;)

Just wanted to share my recent turkey success. After striking out earlier in the morning with a couple of uncooperative gobblers, I decided to try a different spot in the afternoon. I made a big loop in some country I had hunted several years ago, stopping to call every so often. After no responses and not seeing any sign I decided to make my way back to the truck. I stopped to take a break and sat down on a log when this Tom came in silently on the same path I had just been walking, almost like he had been following me. A couple of really soft yelps got him to stop and investigate. He jumped up on a downed log 20 yards in front of me and it was a done deal. Earlier this year I was able to pick up a box call that was made by the late Marvin Robbins. I figured it would be a cool piece of Arizona hunting nostalgia, and was excited to try it out on this hunt... guess it did the trick. 😉 Good luck to all those still out hunting and those with upcoming tags.

I got drawn for my first spring tom hunt this year in 4a/4b for the April 23rd start. I was able to call this nice tom in on Sunday.

One of the BLM donkeys ended up being prego. This wasn't part of the plan! She gave birth last Sunday night. He is about 5 hours old in the picture. Cute as can be.

Bear evolution alongside wolves and a yard full of barking dogs had the bear distracted just enough to couple with her incredibly stupid, lucky but perfect timing. I bet that one plays out bad 95 times out of 100 or worse.

She's pretty lucky the cub didn't drop down into the yard.. Mama bear might have had a different reaction

I think i’ll bite the bullet for everyone and spend $15 on “the works” car wash for my truck. 100% guarantee it will rain cats and dogs after I do that.

Not missed at all, I said I like gardens I’ve done quite a bit of gardening I think it’s fun. If I need vegetables, I just buy them though. I got my mom everything to make a garden bed last year and she grew some stuff this year, tomato she sent me a pic of yesterday

If you’re serious about a guide and have some money, hire az ground pounders. They consistently kill the biggest bulls out of 23. I wouldn’t let A3 guide me if it was free
