I have "stuff" I haven't used in years. I know as soon as I get rid of it a week later I'll need it. I guess we all have a little bit of hoarder in us.

Just wanted to share my recent turkey success. After striking out earlier in the morning with a couple of uncooperative gobblers, I decided to try a different spot in the afternoon. I made a big loop in some country I had hunted several years ago, stopping to call every so often. After no responses and not seeing any sign I decided to make my way back to the truck. I stopped to take a break and sat down on a log when this Tom came in silently on the same path I had just been walking, almost like he had been following me. A couple of really soft yelps got him to stop and investigate. He jumped up on a downed log 20 yards in front of me and it was a done deal. Earlier this year I was able to pick up a box call that was made by the late Marvin Robbins. I figured it would be a cool piece of Arizona hunting nostalgia, and was excited to try it out on this hunt... guess it did the trick. 😉 Good luck to all those still out hunting and those with upcoming tags.

Idk, seems every year the fluffies start hanging around and still never really let loose til july. Im all for an early monsoon but this se er ms normal. Side note, seems like weve been lucky (as a whole) with fires so far. Hope it does come early.

One of the BLM donkeys ended up being prego. This wasn't part of the plan! She gave birth last Sunday night. He is about 5 hours old in the picture. Cute as can be.

I instapotted a bottom sirloin roast with onion on Sunday. then made jambalaya rice shredded the roast. It was pretty good for a rutted up bull

I think i’ll bite the bullet for everyone and spend $15 on “the works” car wash for my truck. 100% guarantee it will rain cats and dogs after I do that.

The fleet is on Bluefin tuna right now, yellow fin probs won't appear for a few months. The bluefin fishing is good right now, and legit trophies are within 1.5 day fishing range. I just got back from a 3 day. None of the fish in the first pic are under 45# and several are well over 100#

Here is a belt grinder I’ve had for a few years. Uses 2.5”x48” belts sell for $500 new at Texas knife maker supply, I want $250 which includes a box of belts. grinder is in good shape, has a gouge out of the drive wheel but that doesn’t harm function. I won’t ship, too heavy, you can pick it up in Flagstaff I added a picture of a knife I made with the grinder so you can see what it’s capable of. ( not included) Geoffrey

Nice, it is that time of year for sure. The big kitty guys normally start showing up late June early July . I have not been in years but we used to have a blast. I never got a Rosey giant but several in the 35 lb range. Then big fish fry parties. They are excellent eating no matter what size. Belly meat is the best.

Friend caught a 50lb flat, and a 8lb large mouth on a live blue gill.

Your partner knows I’m sure but keep in mind if you end up with something other than donks keep them short and watch their gate. Nothing worse than dragging short legged animals with a fast gated ride.

It's been a while since the monsoons wet tropical tounge came up to give us a good licking.

I might be corrected but i think you’ll have a hard time finding a “riding” donkey. Pretty much everyone that has a big donkey (usually a Mammoth Jack) uses them pretty much strictly for making mules. If you’re not 100% sold on a donkey, you’d probably have a lot better luck riding a mule and packing the asses.
