I will be in my booth of landscape photography at the art show being held Fri-Sun at The Gathering Place across from Pinetop Lakes Country Club on Buck Springs Road. 4 pointsI like the small hard walled trailers for one or two people. I'm not a fan of the jumping jack trailers for the price. Its like sleeping in a $600 kodiak canvas on a trailer. 8K on a jumping jack has never seen worth it to me. For 8K you can get a utility trailer for 2K, a Kodiak Canvas tent for 600 and a quad with the rest of the money.

3 pointsGood night bite last night. From about 2am until the sun hit the water it was kind of crazy! Lost a good one too. Hitting big spinnerbaits until about 4am then I changed over to a crawdad crankbait on the rocks. Lots of fun! I should have tried some topwaters. I had several hits on the crank as soon as it landed on the water.

2 pointsJust got my muzzleloader shotgun AZ Gould’s back. Soren Tucker, who works for Weller’s Wildlife Studio in Tucson did the work for me. He does amazing work! Nice to have a great bird taxidermist back in the state after a brief hiatus. Spur Taxidermy is his company for all bird work outside of Weller’s!!! Gone Roosting!

2 pointsRosey was a good girl today... there was a mediocre topwater bite this morning, a few on spinnerbaits, then Drop shot and Ned rigs took over after 10am in about 7-12' of water, and then finally a couple on jerkbait when the wind picked up this afternoon. We boated 40 by 2pm. Water temp was 76°.

2 pointsI've decided I just prefer 10x42 binoculars for my chest set so I'm going to switch back to those. These are amazing binoculars, especially on a tripod and as good as it gets. Pretty hard to beat for AZ.

1 pointThe ol lady had a bad accident last fall and she recently went in and had her ankle rebuilt and knee replaced. She had been wanting an aquaponics set up for some time and I surprised her with one when she got home from the hospital. There's several goldfish in the pond and soon we'll introduce talapia.
