I got my 2020 Mule Deer buck back. Noel at Ironwood Taxidermy does great work with the quickest turnaround and lowest prices in the industry. Super happy with how it came out. I was the one that started the post about tipping and I did tip. I just appreciate the turn around more than anything.

Bit late but we boated 70 total last weekend and kept 30 nice crappie from an overnight outing. Bass bite was great in the evening including this nice 6-4. Not the week to be slammed with work.

Please lighten up on the guy. He's got over 30,000 empty cases all separated and lots cleaned. I referred him to the site. He recently got laid off and is trying to make ends meet. Thanks

What you feel comfortable with, I hate when its expected I cook all the time and a 10 day hunt comes with a steak and lobster and crab leg dinner. I expect nothing, but normally do real good $ and give it to the guide who normally makes $7.50 an hr if you add up all his time and gas. Enjoy the hunt first and foremost ,

I usually tip guides 10-15% min. of the guide fees plus tip any drivers 250-500 plus tip cooks any where from 500-1000 pending on the amount of cooks and the length of the hunt.

I'm glad to see this keeps going. If people don't care about our slut Rosey ,then they don't need to participate. I love the pictures and the reports. Im still fishing guy's, let's keep it going. A good resource on the site and with all the pm,s. Etc

Hey guy's I just wanted to say thank you for the support and kind words I have received from so many of you. Right now I am waiting on my next appointment to see what the next step is going to be. I will update everyone next month when I know more. Again myself and my family thank you.

They kill the bass all the time, never works, willow was slow and windy when I went, and the new 4 fish limet sucks

rainy, windy, rough day on the lake... we managed 28 by about 1pm... then called it quits before we sank in the white caps.

I have heard the fishing for trout is good and would imagine that smallmouth have to be getting ready to spawn and should be biting. already been stocked and should be loaded with fish.

These would be fantastic for hydroponic gardening.

I know what everyone means about a lot of the new country...can’t blame them for playing what sells though. Dustin Lynch is about the only new country I like. I’m a little biased since I’ve known his family for over 30 yrs and he likes to sing about places in our hometown, but give him a chance.

I also bought a 14 footer from Rockland trailers. Great people. I did have one issue. A weld on the spare tire cracked after a long deer season and lots of abuse on a washboard road. Took it back to them and he replaced it with a new design, put a new jack on it that I damaged, updated the pins to hold the ramp in place and put fender protectors on all at no cost to me. The only thing I asked for was the new spare tire holder but he insisted and would not allow me to pay anything. It was great deal with someone that stands behind his work and goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend them.

We actually bought 3 from Rockland last year. My son bought one, I liked it so much I sold mine and bought one and then a buddy did as well. Great folks to deal with and I'm super happy with the trailer.

Pretty good weekend up on the Black River with my sons. Fishing was decent, and turkeys were gobbling. (Trphyhntr is correct regarding what he heard about permits. Need to get them at the casino Chevron.) Game ranger checked us on Saturday, and said there were 120 Black River permits issued for that day. Seems like it's going to get hammered pretty good this summer, given it is still spring. Also saw this fatty!! IMG_3821.MOV

I have a savage lrh .338 lapua that is an absolute tack driver. It comes out of the safe every couple years for an elk hunt. They are expensive to load and not much fun to shoot but they absolutely hammer elk. Brass is $3 each, bullets are 1$ each and they hold $1 worth of powder.

That's funny you should mention, I'm finding geo caches on accident all the time.. I have no treasure to put in them, just my beer bottle cap collection, it's quite extensive and growing...
