If I recall the feds moved some at one time about 8 years ago?. the lethal one I cant honestly say Ive heard rumors but there just rumors. back in the 50-60s they were being shot I read that in a po ackley book, he used a 17 Remington. it dropped them dead in there tracks instantly.( I believe this was PO ackely I read it in. I havent read a book in 20 years. I do have his books I would be more excited about the burro one than the buffalo one

You know the draw for those deer and sheep animals that has a deadline in about a month? The one that in years past they had regulations out in the middle of April and opened the application process the first week of May? Well that draw cycle still doesn't have the regulations released and it's May 4th. All signs point to a completely f'ed up deer and sheep draw just like the elk and antelope draw. They are obviously still struggling with getting their system working like it should or they wouldn't be this far behind.

Selling my Hoyt RX-1 Turbo. 28-30” draw, currently set to 29” with 60-70 lb limbs currently set to 70 lbs. Comes with tight spot 5 arrow quiver, bee stinger 9” stabilizer, QAD drop rest, and a Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL 5 pin (also have a 2 pin housing that I’ll send with it). You’ll also get the Hoyt Redwerx case, 4 VAP TKO elite 350 spine arrows and a spare string with maybe 100 shots on it (Hoyt recalled the cams about as quick as I got it so they threw on new strings when they replaced them). It’s been a great bow for me and has taken a couple nice animals. My chrono puts it at 303 FPS with a 425 grain arrow. I noticed it was pretty dirty while taking pics so I will give it a good wipe down. $950 located in Buckeye but regularly visit parents down south of Willcox. Let me know if you have any questions.

I moved to Phoenix 2 years ago and have been loving the hunting opportunities I've come across. I was able to put my first bull on the ground this past december. I'm pretty new to hunting still and haven't made any hunting connections in AZ yet. I'm hoping to find some people to hunt with and learn from. I've taught myself everything so far and I'm always psyched to pick up tips when I pass a hunter on the trail but I'd love to be able to actually hunt with some people out here. I'm not looking for spots, I've already got some for the OTC deer hunt that aren't closed for next season.

My current average is .30 (bought, sold, reinvested a bunch). So long as the average cost stays above .30, I'm happy.

That electrical work is custom. I wonder how long ago they poured that concrete.

I am rocking- with DOGE- XRP isn't doing crap.... yet. Musk will host SNL and DOGE is going to go "to the moon"! I put in $500 in Jan hoping to get the new Swaros.... now I can get all new glass (binos, spotter, scope, and still have $$) but I am not pulling out- my 12x50's will have to work LOL.

Wish I would of dumped $500 instead of $5 when I made this purchase.

If you post anything for sale they will all complain about your price and say it's too high. .

Those days of practicing open sights on the BB gun and 22’s paid off. She was a little nervous about shooting the shotgun but I told her she only had o pull the trigger one time. She made a terrific 15 yard shot.

Thank for the responses. I tipped my guy because I took the deer to him in December and he had it back to me by March and only charged $475. I felt wrong not to tip him. This was the buck. I have another buck there this year and didn't know if I should be tipping or not. Thanks for the reply.

I rarely have this conundrum but like most answers to life’s questions, I’d say the answer is “It depends.” If it’s a high-end, established taxidermist doing a shoulder mount that will take 12-18 months to complete and you’re paying top dollar, I’d say probably not. You’d “tip” that taxidermist just by being a good, patient, cash-paying client. No need to start calling after the first month and every month thereafter to “check on the progress” then whip out a credit card and ask for a receipt when it’s time to settle up. But if the taxidermist drives from Young and meets you in Payson so you can pick up a skull cap mount, an extra $20 for his gas would be appropriate, even if he had to go to Payson anyway. (But even then, it would probably surprise the taxidermist.) If it’s a young person who’s in school, on the football team and student council and cleans/bleaches skulls for a side hustle, I’d hand over more cash than required and say “I appreciate your hard work. I don’t need any change back.” So it depends, I guess.

    My customers don't tip me.

This is honestly the first time I've ever even heard of tipping a taxidermist.
