Im blessed to be able to roam gods country on my mule following my hounds. I run into these kills probably more than the average hunter. Here are a few from 2020-2021 for you Coues nuts.
Unless you want your vehicles tires slashed I would make sure you have plenty of Biden/Harris 2020, COEXIST, Earth First and 🌈 stickers clearly visible. Probably a good idea to have a few Trump Sucks and I ❤️ Karl Marx stickers too.
Not from the spot that I was sitting, but about 400 yards back. That's a very interesting concept about their sense of location. Makes me wonder how many turkeys I've missed out on in times past.
Those days of practicing open sights on the BB gun and 22’s paid off. She was a little nervous about shooting the shotgun but I told her she only had o pull the trigger one time.
She made a terrific 15 yard shot.
Just got back from the shed hunt. Only had a day and a half due to weather. Very sad drive off the plateau from the AZGFD check station down to winter range. All is burned. Oak corral is gone ! Almost down to the forest service cabins on the 22 rd. After 30 years of shed hunting the Bab, I finally found matching browns. 15 ft apart. Enjoyed some great Elk sirloins for dinner with my Good buddy George.

Is it only 12 animals? I know it will only be 12 shooters but I didn't see that it would only be 12 animals.
*edit* I went back and looked and it only says that shooters will be given up to one animal in exchange for volunteering. Unless I missed it, it doesn't say how many animals will be shot.
DIY. use the best paint you can. Roll alittle bit each weekend. I have done this several times. The trick is to paint more often then you think, this eliminates the prep work. Just power wash one weekend. And start rolling from a 5 gal bucket! Plus you can listen to as many hunting podcasts as you want and the wife can’t have a say!
