One thing to consider since you cannot get on the Bo until a week before is to purchase a scouting package from an outfitter that knows the area, this will at least get you in an area that historically has goats. PM me if interested, I have some contacts that know that area very well. Also bring a ladder to stand up in the bed of your truck, ratchet strap it down. Works great for glassing in the flats.

Any size? We caught over 20 but mostly a bunch of 1-2 lbrs.

I wear the 5.11 stretch pants when in the desert and they are very nice. Pretty much indestructible and quite comfortable. I also wear the costco tech pant which is a lightweight stretch pant and they have been awesome as well. For 20 bucks it is hard to find any complaints about them. Never tried the Prana but I have read the costco are similar.

The wranglers you mentioned are pretty good for the price. I have a few pairs from Walmart for around $20 each. They are definitely a step down from the Prana Zion, but for the price, hard to beat. At $20 a pair, you really don't need then to last multiple seasons.

With the general lack of rain/snow, I'm thinking the roads will be just fine. Likely just the usual rocky-bumpy ride.

If you finally decide to sell the choke I’ll pay the original $30 plus 6 forever stamps and a gallon of gas to get you to the post office. As far as the counseling for the ptsd from the experience , I would have to add you to my insurance but I would cover the copay.

You want to hunt the BO. Pm me if you want to know some good spots to check. There will probably be some guides in theses spots but that's no big deal. Just hunt em anyways. I practically lived in that unit for 10 plus years when I used to guide a lot.
