Daughter and one of Friends came to AZ from Camp Pendleton for some shed hunting and Easter. They got in 1:30 am sat morning, we left at around 9am looked for sheds tried to call in yotes then ate dinner in Williams and got back to PHX at 1:30 am just beat tired/ We towed her Jeep up north unhooked it and they took off looking for sheds. one guy was coming out of the area we were going. come to find out we both go to the exact same ridge, so we turned around and went elsewhere. They hiked around the edge of Sycamore canyon both sides about , I went to call yotes, no luck for either of us, She didnt go home empty handed she found another cool skull, we have a huge collection of them that she finds all the time. didnt see one elk deer yote squirrel nothing. then we got into the snow and saw maybe 200-300 elk all laying in the snow drifts. Lots of people Camping, looked like opening weekend of archery deer, some were shed hunting some were just enjoying a nice easter weekend. J.D Dam Was packed. Had a good time as usual tiring as crap but well worth it, spending time with Her and she loves unit 8.

Does anyone need some 300 WSM ammo. Was at Arties Ace Hardware on Tatum and Thunderbird. He has quite a bit of Winchester ammo with different bullet weights. Sorry I didn't take pictures, but it was all under 40.00 a box. Just passing it on if someone needs it. It's in the back of the store by the post office. Yes, this Ace has a post office. There was also some .222 ammo in there as well.

I don't do banquets man. There are a few good guys in those groups but for the most part they're self-important delta bravos. I hunt mule deer 90 days per year and I've never been to an MDF or AMDO banquet. I didn't hang out with the "cool" kids in high school either.

Yep, I hope they can get this thing contained. Looks like it’ll end up being fairly small in terms of acreage, but I fear the impact looks like it’ll be fairly significant in terms of homes etc. I grew up in Kearny, and the kids from Dudleyville got bussed there to go to school so I know some of the families in that area. Word is that some have lost homes. Sucks. 🙏🏼

I was asked about negotiation on price. I just received these, was able to get 12 lbs but it was 2 different shipments, some were in stock one day and others the next, so 2 hazmats and shipping. I ordered extra than I wanted to spread out the hazmat and shipping per pound. The IMRs I got cost me 46 bucks, which was good because if sportsmans had it it would be 42 plus tax for the same 46. The VV cost me 51, the others 42. If I sold all 6lbs I would clear all of 30 bucks to justify all the meetups to sell. Unfortunately this is the reality of powder costs anymore. These are duplicates of powders I have so don't mind keeping them or passing them along. Will trade also. Kent
