2 - 20 acre parcels. 6 miles west of Ashfork. 4 miles n. Of I-40 , off the Crocton exit. Deer elk and javelina frequent the property. Awesome antelope country too! Hilltopviews of the valley below and the Peaks, Bill Williams, even Mingus in the distance. Always glassed up antelope accross the valley below. A trailer is located on one 20. We used it for weekend trips. Make a nice hunting camp. Off grid living required for area. Hillside is heavily treed with mature junipers . For more information. Call 602 762 6695. Gary Hanson

You guys have a secret. I'm a big fan of cooking wild game, especially for those who have never had it before or had a bad experience in the past. It's (mostly) all about meat care and prep, and cooking properly. A rutting buck is the exception, and is why I don't shoot bucks back home unless they are a wall hanger, then I generally turn the meat into sausage. My favorite is a yearling (small) doe which can be unbelievable table fare. If you read my recent adventure in the AZ forum I finally got my first coues. A nice mature rutting buck with the odor you'd expect from one. I was concerned with how it tastes given that it's #1 a buck and #2 they eat who knows what. But now your secret is out. This deer is phenomenal despite the age and rut status. The deer police may come for me after saying this but it's probably the best deer ever! The myth of the corn (or soybean, alfalfa, etc.) fed Midwestern deer is just that. It's definitely leaner than MW deer, but most fat on whitetails is external. It hardly tastes like deer at all, it almost has a nutty flavor? And it's tender too. Whatever I'll shoot another one just to eat it! I can't imagine what a doe would be like if they were legal to shoot. One big tip is to allow the meat to cool slowly, the worst thing you can do it throw it straight into an ice filled cooler. I killed this deer in the mid morning and let the quarters hang in the shade until dark even though the high was 60F. It was cool to the touch at that point (evaporative cooling helps with low humidity too). Then I put it into a cooler with ice. Anyway don't let anyone tell you that MW farm country deer are better table fare, or better yet don't tell anyone coues are delicious!

Maybe math isn’t my forte or I just have fat fingers, .then 71 cents a round it is. I guess this classified ad isn’t for you. Glad we have nice people like you to correct us. Thank you in advance........do you want to buy this?

I am so confused...not that it takes much. Is all of it (ammo, gun, mags, holster) $860? Your .44 cents per round is not adding up for me. Thanks, Eddie

Yes because this ban or season idea is for using cameras for hunting. It doesn't ban using cameras. The Game and Fish cannot ban cameras on Forest Service Land. The Forest Service or BLM has to ban it on the land they control. The Game and Fish has no authority to ban using cameras outside of hunting purposes. If the Game and Fish bans cameras year round there will still be legal cameras up. If they create a season there will still be legal cameras up outside of that season. Your idea of everyone taking cameras down is just not possible unless you get the Forest Service and BLM on board.

Out looking for an eastern ingress to a claim, found a second shed where I m certain I've hiked before. Will make a nice addition to my shed fence. A few feet later, a nice specimen of Tourmaline crystals.

Had a wonderful day today. Recently got accepted to the Wickenburg Sportsman's Club so took the ol lady to get some pistol/rifle practice. Had the entire range to ourselves. We're old friends with the range hosts so grilled some meat afterwards and got caught up. Bullets, burgers and beers; priceless. I guess they don't call it Super Sunday for nothing. Heard some folks sat inside and watched the tube all day.
