3 points1) The guys that hunt them all the time wont take you to their areas so you need to have your own picked out so they can take to your spots. 2) Repeat #1 3)Do you have gloves and a face mask? You can hunt in jeans and a camo shirt but you must cover your hands and face. Dont move abruptly on stand very slow movement, once you spot a coyote dont move while you can see its eyes let him slip behind cover before shouldering your firearm and turning your body. 4) Sit on a short stool/chair. This way you can sit on stand for 15 to 45 minutes. (Lions, bears, bobcats and smart old dogs) 5) Make sure to hide your truck. If the incoming predator sees your truck he will leave. 6) This one is more important then you might think, dont call to loud, start at a very low volume and after about 5 minutes you can turn it up a bit but they hear 10 times better then you think. Once you see an incoming predator turn off the caller it already knows right where you are (within 5/6 feet) even if he is still 300 yards away. If need to get his attention lip squeak, this will be necessary to stop him for a shot. Sometimes they will act like they dont see you and will circle you downwind, dont let him lip squeak to stop him but be ready to shoot. Have fun!

2 pointsHere's a good article that breaks the bill down. Lee couldn't get a single cosponsor for it because it's simply as crazy of a piece of legislation as she is. https://bigjolly.com/sheila-jackson-lee-goes-berserk-on-gun-control/

2 pointswhy would the govt. want to disarm the public ? And why does the 2nd amendment exist ?

2 pointsLots of fun and worth the drive from Southern AZ. Lots of cool toys and folks. I didn't get any pics either, but the shooting was a blast.
-
2 pointsHad a blast. Didn't pull a trigger until about 10:00-10:30 when the fog finally lifted. All we could see was the 100 yard zero target. Once the fog burned off, the steel started ringing, from 431 to 1068. Even with the wind, the hits just kept coming. Good spotters and wind calls helped keep hit percentages high. Lots of glass and guns out there. I only got a few photos, was too busy spotting and shooting.

2 pointsYes, you should! Welcome to the club. We might elect you to the board because that is an excellent "Wounded Trophy Deer". Hope he was nice and incapacitated otherwise we may have to rescind your invitation.

2 pointsI don't understand why they just don;t make "common sense" laws that make it illegal to kill people. If they just did THAT we would be a peaceful society and would have no need to regulate tools.

2 pointsWell after an 7.5 mile race into a nasty canyon the dogs finally got this Tom to bluff up. Tyler was the first to the bluff when it saw him it went up a tree. Then bc777 and some kids got there and those kids got a little excited and loud and the sorry lion jumped the tree and went another 200 yards in some nasty steep ruff stuff before dogs were able to push it up a tree for the last time. We had chased this Tom last year in November when a buddy of ours glassed him up durning a late elk hunt. He did almost the same exact thing as he did the first time but this time he had a full belly and we still had a skiff of snow left. The Hunter took this lion with an air cross bow pretty sweet set up btw. After the pack out we were all burned out and we decided not to chase #2. My puppy with the green tracking collar is going to make a dog this is the Second lion tree he has been at and he was treeing like a boss! The red x pic shows where the dogs treed .

2 pointsItâs pretty common to leave a blind up in an area so animals become habituated to it and donât freak out when they see it.

2 pointsThose 2 happy little kids with the bluegill could probably use the $100 though

1 pointThis Tom won the last race we had with him , but today we came out on top. My pup in the first picture at the tree did phenomenal and Dogs in general kicked butt! Pack out was the best we have ever had and the best part about it is bc777 fines are about paid off. Got to give a shout out to Tyler and my crew for always going hard and making it happen. Thanks guys !

1 pointMy brother Robert came back down to look for the Mulie buck we glassed up last weekend when I filled my Javelina tag. We decided to sit a water source we found. We got to our spot well before daylight and sat in the Ranger talking of hunts past. After getting my Barronett Ground Pounder blind set up he moved the Ranger back a couple hundred yards. We continued our talk of yesteryear for a little while as we both thought we would not see much in the early morning hours, we'll that didn't happen. I just started to film a woodpecker when he whispered, "deer....buck" and the heart started pounding. I filmed as he slowly walked in and started to get a drink. Roberts shot was off a little but with the Swhacker broadheads that few inches didn't matter the buck didn't make it 40 yards leaving a highway of blood. After taking care of his buck we decided to sit a while longer and see if another would grace us with his presence. A few hours later we spotted a Javelina on the ridge above coming in to get a drink. Suddenly he turns about face and Trott off. At that point we could hear two guys talking as if they were 20 yards apart walking down the two-track. After a few words with them they continue on. A little after noon we decide to head in and take care of his buck. Driving out we jump up a real nice 4x4, so I bail out and give chase. I got about 90 yards before he dropped into a wash and disappeared. All in all a great day. Robert and have just recently gotten back to hunting together and this day makes #9, we have been successful 7 of those 9 days bringing home Mule Deer, Coues Deer, and Javelina. Here is the video.

1 pointIt's BLM. I don't know and don't care what the law is. I couldn't prove ownership. It's no big deal to remove a tag or mark over my name. I didn't plan on leaving it out there. I got sick enough the last day I hunted it I didn't think I would make it home from hunting. My boss offered to pick it up but I told him I would take care of it. Should have let him.

1 pointWow, a whole lot of assumptions and assuming the worst in people in this thread. We are assuming that the guide, knew the buck was mortally wounded. Knew where the wounded buck was located. The guide was still glassing with his Hunter, and a couple random hunters(not the original Hunter who missed) stoped to talk with him. Does anyone expect him to tell these random hunters where a big buck is located? (Even if he knew) If the guide knew there was a wounded buck in the area, do you expect him to bail off the hill with his client and help some other random hunters? âSorry out of state client, we arent going to look for a buck for youâ How many people were already attempting to track the buck that Saturday? If the guide knew where the buck went, why didnât they kill the buck that day or even the next day? It took 3 more days to find the buck. The buck wasnât even in the same area(it was the same unit) where it was wounded on Saturday. Did Rod and AZbearhunter spend most of Sunday looking for the buck they wounded? Did you guys go and speak to the guide and ask him what he saw and if he could point you in the right direction? As far as the truck driving around and âroad huntingâ. How do you know he even had a client in the truck? You know most of the time Outfitters arenât guiding themselves, right? Perhaps he was checking up on all the guides and clients he had in the unit? I canât imagine âroad huntingâ or anything close to it being a go to move on a desert archery hunt. Especially for an outfitter and his guides who are known for their glassing expertise. Which brings me to the army of glassers. That Army of one guide and one client. Those two got it done. Folks need to stop trying to crap on other peoples accomplishments.

1 pointThis. Had it happen to me a couple weeks ago. TBAC CB too. Cleaned the threads on the rifle and in the CB, applied a drop of red Loctite to the threads and installed. Left it overnight. Next day, came off fine. Cleaned the threads of the CB and can, applied a touch of Froglube paste to the threads and mating surface. I install and remove my cans multiple times weekly. Only happened once in probably 500 install/removals.

1 pointFunny the state can purge all this hunter info and start over but can't do the same with voter rolls.
