I was lucky enough to win a governors tag in Wyoming for buffalo. I had already killed a nice bull years ago so I let my daughter Tessa have the tag. We only had till the end of January to fill it so we were starting to run out of time. I had hired Ralph Greene with Tag n drag he had been highly recommended turned out to be the right choice. After two days on horses and covering 20 plus miles we were able to find this bull. As usual Tessa took care of it from there . We got the bull out in one trip on a sled behind one of the horses . I hope I never have to get on a horse again

Well it didn’t take long. First day out targeting a Coues buck and I got it done at about 3:30 in the afternoon. 60 yard shot and he was done quick! Definitely a great first archery Coues!

I’ve had a 12,14,17,19 all 3.5 ecoboost and loved all of them. Took them each to 95,000 and traded. Had a few issues with the first one and heard the 11’s were trouble. I would look into the latest model as you can afford. They are unlike any other gas engine on the market. Tons of low end torque. Terrible mileage when working hard but so is everything I guess.

Love my eco boost. I can’t remember which Generation’s were which years, but you should be good. The 5.0 is kind of a dog compared to the egoboost if you ask me. And the tow capacity is much higher for the eb.

As long as you don't post a kill and trail cam pic. Nothing wrong with posting trail cam pics and video. Lots of people enjoy them

Thanks to @rcdinaz, we have the target locations ready to go. He hammered this one out at 760. The two just below the waterline were his. I couldn't hit it with one rifle (uhggg), but got on with another. From 100 paper to 1000 yards of steel. Plenty of rocks out to a mile.

You could play the points game that lots of folks play for kid...start buying points for a non-hunting parent or grandparent with plans to put in after the kid is old enough and transfer the tag to the kid. Or count on a lucky kid like my buddy’s son who has drawn all kinds of stuff in 5 years...rifle Bull, Gould’s, NM Ibex...lucky kid.

falling down the rabbit hole here at an ever increasing rate. been on every mountaintop-almost-in this giant state. chased around the pacific and belize hunting trophys afoot, afin and aflight-never got my sandhill but i did not miss out on much. no regrets here-from fistfights to packouts to giant tuna i did not get cheated. respects to all-especially Amanda and the horn hunters who put hundreds of miles on their boots every spring instead of sitting on a beach somewhere. you all are quite a family-thank you. first lines of a favorite poem- the moon comes up, the moon goes down. this is to inform you that i didn't die young; age swept past me, but I caught up........................ lee

Have to be legal to hunt (age 10nat the time of the hunt) to build bonus points. Otherwise, I would have already been getting my two granddaughters BPs for the last 2-3 years.

Kids can now be added to your portal. I did have to call in to get them added. They have to be old rebought enter the draw to receive bonus points. So the year they turn ten.

Recent mountain goat finished up. This is a November Alaska goat, hence the long hair. Clay Roberts of Big Wild Outfitters has a great area for these winter goats. View the full article
