just found out that a friend just passed away, he was the owner of the Big Bo ranch, great guy always help me on the hunts there, gave contacts with his cowboys there, i gave those numbers to a few guys here, hope nothing will change in the ranch and won't be a private only ranch. here is his memory. Today the Tribal Council approved Small Game and Waterfowl hunting for Non-members on San Carlos. The department office will have permits for sale starting tomorrow (12/30/20). Normal business hours are 8am to 430pm M-F and 8am to 12pm Sat. You will be required to have a recent Covid19 negative test on your person at all times and also adhere to cdc guidelines such as wearing of mask around others you may encounter and social distancing. There are various checkpoints entering the community areas which you will need to show your hunting permits to pass through and on to the hunting areas. Although we suffered several large wildfires in some prime quail habitat, there is an abundance of birds which need thinning out! DAN

I don't think he did anything to himself. I think it was a very crappy expectation for people to want him to essentially throw out votes. I’m certainly no constitutional scholar, but I’ve seen a couple of lawyers (One being Ben Shapiro) stating that he had no authority to do what was expected of him, and to me that seems logically correct. Can you imagine a larger conflict of interests than to allow the incumbent VP to toss out votes in a re-election? Or for that matter, what if Biden has tossed electoral votes for Trump in 2016 citing concerns of Russian meddling? No, I don’t believe for a minute that was ever a legal option for Pence, and I don’t find it appropriate or reasonable to label him a traitor as some have. He’s been a stalwart defender of the administration and President Trumps policy since day one and he’s often been a much better spokesperson for the administration than POTUS himself. just my amateur .02

I think that would’ve been the worst thing he could’ve possibly done. As it is, I think this little act of insurrection is going to cost us dearly, as we’re already seeing with censorship. I think the republicans are going to lose more ground in the midterms, and the only way that they have a chance in 2024 is if the Biden administration makes such a mess out of the economy that large swathes of people suffer from it. any chance trump or pence had of a run in 2024 is gone. Sure their base would still support them, but every election is decided by the 20ish% of swing voters, and I don’t think they’ll get that.

SOLD Selling off a used Ruger 10/22 rifle with one magazine. Have not used it in over 15 years, needs to go. This one is from 1972 and works/shoots great, stock has a few dings and scratches. I see them ranging right around + or - the $300 mark so for this vintage one from 1972, I want $295 This has the walnut stock and metal trigger guard vs the new ones with the plastic trigger guard and birch stock from Walmart that are not the same. I agree I do it the same way , I get all my game off the bone asap and on ice.. I don't know if the right way but its definitely the right way for me.. I find it less gamey and don't have to deal with the meat shell that forms from hanging .. but I do have little butcher background so I find it easy and I enjoy doing it al myself..

I do all this in the field gutless method. Then I bone out the meat put into 4 one gallon ziplock bags including skull and leave. Simple as can be. I can do an entire pig in about an hour. Trim in the convenience of my kitchen and do whatever preparation I choose. Generally an awesome Jalapeno polish that I've developed over the years and smoke.

Took the oldest boy out for a little shoulder recoil therapy aka quail hunting. Got on numerous large 30-40 bird filled coveys. I got 11, the boy got 2. Started to get a little too breezy so we couldn’t hear them clucking anymore so we called it a day.

I have three recovered slugs in my collection. Left: 145gr 7mm Speer Grand Slam (7mm Rem Mag) recovered just under the skin from the back of the ham on a coues deer. (bullet entered opposite front shoulder.) Center; 165gr .308 Nosler BT (300 Win mag) recovered form the stomach cavity of a Texas feral hog (Bullet entered front shoulder) Right: 9mm jacketed bullet that went through my roof and into my bedroom on New year's eve '02. My girlfriend and i were on the bed at the time... scared the heck out of us! We've moved out of town since then!
