This has been a safe queen of mine for quite some time and since I don't have anyone to pass it on to it's for sale. It is a 98% gun and is just beautiful. From the serial number, this gun was manufactured in 1962. Winchester Pre 64 Model 70 264 Win Mag Featherweight (Westerner) 22" barrel For all the 6.5 Creedmor fans that want to send those 143gr ELD-X bullets a few hundred FPS faster, this is an option for you. Want to put this out there to the Coues Whitetail community if someone is looking for a collector or a great gun to take on your next hunt. I also have some some brass for it that I never reloaded that I will throw in with a full price offer. Sold in an hour after posting on Guns International for 200.00 more. Have 2 backup sales as well. Should have done this a long time ago. $2000.00

I feel kinda bad because I could have made it a lot more interesting and more updates here. But, I hadn’t seen that other hunter. I wasn’t sure how he was doing, I knew we were doing good and I didn’t really want him to catch wind and come over and hunt. It’s a big area but at the same time it wasn’t. As far the size goes, we had our chance at an over book Ram on the 5th day. I had a lot of help, all I really did was organize it and I got all the proper permits for us. I tried to get a jimmy johns size group but it ended up being my dad and I, along with 1-3 other dudes at a time. Wish2hunt, Len, Dave, Donnie, whom I have never met, went way out of their way to help us. And my 2 friends Justin and Zack also came a few days. this is what it looked like where I was glassing from all day, almost everyday. looking north the pics make it look smaller and not steep, but its some steep rugged stuff.

I haven't hunted in Arizona for 6 years. Working in Texas. My brother calls a couple of months ago. He tells me he has bought my license and put us in for a deer hunt. He wouldn't take no for an answer. So we got drawn for a Coues hunt at the end of November. I talk my boss into 2 weeks off and I drove out the day before the hunt. As you would expect the first few days were spent trying to stay away from other hunters. Then Sunday night all you heard were trucks driving out. Monday mourning we found our selves pretty much alone. My brother shot a spike Monday afternoon and I shot a nice 3X3 on Tuesday. Today we left camp. Always remember trust your brother!

Given the popularity of 6.5CM i would have thought that it was obvious what he was asking. If it was one of the others he likely would have specified. Of course i could be wrong.

The Long Range X bullet Is designed with a slightly better BC and designed top open down to 1600 fps (the TTSX is 1800 fps). Yes it’s tipped. my friends 6.5CMm shoots them at 2950fps into about a half inch with a 4ln 13oz Kinber Mtn Ascent. I have a new 6.5 PRC that is about 5/8” at 3150 fps but I’m still working on it. A 6.5x55 groups them sub 1/2” at 3025 fps. The PRC weights 6.25 labs bare...the heavy weight in the group This is a coyote with the 6.5x55 at 150 yds. They expand wonderfully but hold together well. The BC is slightly lower than the 140 AB but it expands at a lower velocity.

They ran out of Retumbo, I just missed it. They still had 4350, H1000, and Varget.

Haven’t taped him but probably 158. Decent mass but short. It was time. I feel like I should make another thread with pics and more concise
