Seriously though. I am doing an ammo purge. Here's the deal. I will post a deal a few times from now until Christmas. Each one will last 24 hours, or until I think it is getting outta control. Pick up is in Mesa/Tempe. Maybe within 20 miles but that may also require Christmas Tamales or libations. Hight bid wins. All proceeds will be given to Amanda to support this website. Happy Holidays.

Hello, I am selling this unique photo of a bull I took in September, this bull was hissing at a smaller bull that was to my left and it made him look mean. This is a 11"x14" print in a perfectly matched frame and I'm asking $45. This would look perfect in a "man cave" or someones cabin. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing this. Thanks, Darren

I’ve always been impressed at how high end optics hold their value. The highest cost of ownership of any optic ive ever owned was a pair of Vortex binos I bought for $450 and had to throw away because they were such garbage. I’ve got tens of thousands of dollars of other high end optics and I could sell any one of them right now and lose less then that on them. I hear people talk about how they can’t afford high end optics and I’d argue that I can’t afford to run cheap optics.

There needs to be an age limit and term limits. Enough is enough. Left and right should be able to get behind this movement. I appreciate the notion of wisdom with age and can personally attest to that but after a point fine wine doesn’t get better it gets sour.

buy a nice beretta or benelli 20 ga semi auto (I have a montefeltro super 90- its dove-quail-chukar death) for everything upland, get a remington 11-87 or 870 to muck up and shoot waterfowl. Or maybe a Benelli montefeltro 12 ga it weighs about 7lb and points well too....and shoots 3". Biggest issue I see with 20 vs 12 for waterfowl, is that 3" 20 ga loads dont go as fast as 3" 12 ga loads by about 100 fps-----and smaller payload.......it does matter for waterfowl IMO. Best of luck!

That feeling you get when your pride and joy scopes barely make the top 5 on Lances list......

I don't know if you consider my lion still hunting, spot and stalk, baiting, dogs, self defense or all of the above; but getting close enough to get one with an arrow is doable

That looks fantastic! Coues is my favorite of all big game meats, and this is the way I do it too.

Looks great! I plan to cook my next one like that as a roast rather than medallions.

I would have said this before last year ... would shoot up nearly a box of very expensive shells. But it's a lot like turkey hunting -- if you know what you're doing, you can decoy them in close, not beat up your shoulder, not potentially would several birds, and NOT shoot up a box of shells.

The news was posted with no comments allowed but here it is: Long read. They claim to be recovering costs expended but I would say they are trying to discourage participation. The fees I am concerned about are those involved in bird dog training, bird raising, and field trials: WOW WHAT AN INCREASE: "Increase the fee for the Game Bird Field Trial License to $45. Currently, the fee for this license is $6. Establish a $95 fee for the Game Bird Field Training License; require a fee of $45 for the renewal of the Game Bird Field Training License. Currently, this license is issued at no charge. Increase the fee for the Game Bird Hobby License to $80; require a fee of $40 for the renewal of the Game Bird Hobby License. Currently, the fee for this license is $5" Lots of other changes involved in this proposal but that parts hurts. Perhaps the bureaucracy problems are the reason for the audit findings. I know up north, I was told you don't even need these bird permits but in S AZ it is all the rage. COMMENTS?
