Spent the first few days getting skunked. Finally dug in and got further out there. One shot a piece with a 6.5 creedmoor at 590yards. First one dropped and the next walked out broad side, after impact it took one step then dropped in its tracks. The excitement that came afterwards is something I’ll never forget.

Every time I read one of your comments it pushes me even more to the total ban side. At this rate I don’t think you are doing much justice for your position.

I rarely check into this web site and every time I do I'm reminded why I don't. Today for some reason I did and low and behold what is the first topic I see, game and fish banning something else. We as hunters are the biggest conservation group in the world however we don't stick together to stop our hunting rights from being infringed. It started a long time ago with banning this or banning that and we as hunters couldn't stick together. There were portions of us who thought "it doesn't effect me so why do I care" and others who said "I don't think people should be allowed to hunt that way". For whatever "reason", we were divided and slowly our rights have been slowly stripped away. I kinda find it funny(and sad) now some of the same people who didn't care in the past are the ones upset by these "new" restrictions on cameras. I have to remind them they were not out spoken before and this is "what they get" for their silence. Now I just sit back and laugh at their outrage. Those of you who think this doesn't effect you, it will some day soon. Some day it will be banning binoculars or spotting scopes with a power greater than 10X or banning rifles which can shoot further than 500 yards or banning range finders. The list can go on and on. Think I'm crazy, that's what people would have said about trail cameras ten years ago. Have fun with your indignant outrage and those of you who think this won't eventually effect you cuz you don't use them anyway, have fun with the next ban coming..........

I got lucky and drew a random 12aw late tag this year. I honestly expected to see more bucks per day, i'd say we averaged seeing 10 bucks a day, but roughly half of those we saw were pretty good bucks in the 160-165 range, with a handful of 170-175 bucks over the course of 5 1/2 days. They seemed very pockety to me, one draw would have a bunch of deer with some bucks kicking around, the next draw with the exact habitat would have nothing. The evenings were very slow for us, at least the first few days since it was so dang hot. Most of the mature bucks seemed to be hanging in the pines right before it opened up into the oaks. My dad found this inline buck on day 3 and i figured he was on the bubble; good deer but i wanted to hold out for a few more days. Day 4 we couldn't turn him up and considered him gone to find new does, but we hung around to see if new bucks would move in. I was able to put glass on him the morning of day 5 in the same canyon and knew he was a shooter. After several days of looking at what i'd consider good bucks, he stood out a lot. I knew he didn't have great mass or width but was long and had character so i couldn't resist.

I find it insane that guys are not smart enough to know that limiting technology is a necessary evil we must contend with. Do guys, who think nothing should be off limits, think we should eliminate all law and order? You guys are ok with draw locks for guys without disabilities, crossbows that shoot 150 yards for guys without disabilities. Using infrared to locate animals during the night. Using drones to locate animals while hunting, The unmanned guns that are hooked to cameras where you can shoot the animals from your computer at home. Those are just a few off the top of my head that came up in the past 10-15 years. I mean, if you can not see that technology is always evolving and laws need to be put in place to limit or curtail the effects of some of the advances in technology to try and maintain some semblance of hunting. Where everyone draws the line is different. That is why the poll has mixed opinions on it.

There is no such thing as a total Trail Cam ban!!! Birdwatchers and etc can always put up cameras they have no hunting license. Hmm who is going to hire them on the down low and you will never know! . Hmmm YOU GUYS WILL ALWAYS SEE CAMERAS ON WATER HOLES nothing will change. In fact their gonna make wanna be cops out of the hunters because they will think its illegal to have a Trail cam on that water and steal them or shoot them. And they will just be replaced no problem! A Game Warden cannot take down trail cameras off waterholes or any where else legally. Unless they start an investigation . And they dont have time to be camera cops too. Hello Commissioners your going to make it worse! YOUR GONNA MAKE CRIMINALS OUT OF LAW ABIDING CITIZENS! I dont want any comments thank you just more food for thought! Commissioners are reading these posts!

Good post... Before you go argue in front of the commission, please, please have someone screen your arguments. They are really weak and lack any substance. Same as there will always be poaching even tho it is illegal.

Here's my 2020 37a desert. Using the fish and game numbers, he nets 176" with my math. Using the fish and game's math, 174 1/2" 😳. The fractions were not added up right for the gross score and the deductions where done wrong. Will have him officially scored after the sixty days. He was aged at 11 to 12 years old. The class of sheep I have always wanted to harvest. It was a awesome hunt. And getting to experience it with family made it even better. I have been trying to draw a sheep tag for years and I honestly wasn't sure it was ever going to happen. Many thanks to the fish and game and all the people that keep our Arizona sheep alive. I spent almost four months scouting for this hunt and can see how people can get addicted to sheep hunting.

Love him or hate him, you have to admire his passion. G&F 100% reads this forum and someone needs to delete the trail cam poll post.

An easy remedy. Call the cams abandon property and finders keepers. If you wanna lose 200 cams to no bull then that's a choice you made

Because people post it up on the net and then people who don't need it run over and get it to scalp. Same Ol Same Ol.

Managed to recover one bullet from my daughter's bull back in 2017. 140gr Barnes TTSX from her 7mm-08. Recovery weight was 139.9, but my scale kept bouncing between 139.9 and 140.

I guess u find it ethical to to find animals with a device that pretty much undectical by a animals. Selling animals has put pile of people in the woods, most of the helpers don't have a guide license but thats probably fine with u also. 20 years ago we didn't have them littered on public land and good hunters still harvested animals

These next 2 sheep were about 500-600 yards away in the shade of a mountain. The zoom sounds loud in the video but in person you don’t hear it. (don’t mind the commentary in the video, I had my daughter with me and we were parked right off a Jeep trail and had people coming by and she was jumping in and out of my Jeep so didn’t want her to get hit by somebody coming by.
