Read something yesterday that said that only 30% of hunters vote. There are supposedly 11.5 million of us in the US and a LOT of those numbers are in swing states. This is disappointing. Get out there and vote people. AZ is a big swing state this year. If the number of hunters that voted was up in the national average, it would really help us all. Crazy that a group of people with so much to lose due to our interests has such a small showing at the ballots. I'm sure some of this has to do with it falling smack-dab in hunting season but that isn't an excuse.

So, as it turns out what I thought was a Pending $50 charge for Turkey was actually for Javelina which I had thought I only put myself in for since my son won't hunt them anymore. I guess I'll break it to him when we are fishing in Magdalena next week.

BTW: you cannot receive messages. The hunt itself ended well, largely because of extra effort by the Guide, Chris Roe. He was great. Mexico was the situation I would not want to do again. The State Department had actually said not to go down there and there was a couple that was kidnapped in Agua Prieta the same time we were there.

I have three days worth of video, (about 8 gigs) with Coues deer in it before I finally took my biggest buck. My blind was put up Sunday morning and only took it down after I killed him, I didn't brush it in either.

Update! When I picked one of these up from Jeff, he suggested that they will take standard wood-working tools fairly well. So this morning I broke-out the router & jig-saw, and had at it! Cut a handle on each end. Next I used the router to round-off all edges, and to cut a little moat (blood/juice catcher) around the top. Super easy, so thought I would share. Thanks again, Jeff. S.

Oh and an honorable mention to Edge for the only thing I asked of him, dropped 2,,,,15 gallon water jugs for him to haul in and he shows up with 140 gallons total so it was wild shower parties and fresh water for the mules. Toilet flushed smoothe all week

Yeah, the front had a large dent in it, I removed it and hammered it out, mostly. Pretty sure the prior owner drove by braille. i will let you know if my paint guy has one.

Guys, do not lose faith. The left seem to be so much more vocal and a royal PIA. I was encouraged yesterday IN TUCSON: a guy passed me in a big tricked out truck with an American flag and a trump flag. In the White Mountains, you sure do see a lot of overt Trump support. I really think folks who support Trump are less vocal and do not answer polls. So, keep the faith and vote. It still blows me away how many anti-trumpers are on this site but they do seem quiet on this post or at least greatly out-numbered.
