Thats alot of people involved for same day hunting.

I own Yeti, Rtic, Canyon and Orca. They all perform about the same if they are pre cooled. I like the design of the Canyon's, but I think if it came down to longest ice retention, my Rtic would probably win. It seals so dang tight that it is hard to open some times.

I've looked through the Zeiss 15x next to the non hd SLCs 15x a time or 2. The Zeiss were noticeably better both times. The Zeiss are not better than the new Swaro HDs though. From what I've looked through. I think the Swaro HDs are the best 15s money can buy right now.

Some of my favorite memories come from that Kiabab doe hunt!!!! Soak it up and take lots of pics for the memories!!!!!! Regarding the weather, I agree with bigorange! Looks like it will be perfect!! Funny you mention "the freak snowstorm....". Big +1 on that!!! I have been surprised fairly often by a snowstorm on that hunt. Often just flurries, but good to be prepped none the less. Enjoy!

Fishing was not that great during the day, just enough to keep it interesting. I grabbed about 4 hours of sleep and started throwing black worms. Nothing. Changed over to a crank bait and lit it up. Between 2:30 and 4 am it seemed nearly every cast had a bass hit it. As soon as it started getting light enough to see bass started busting shad. Crank bait right in the boils usually caught a small bass. Lots of fun!

One more piece of advice, when shooting a .300 WM weight can be your friend.

I’ll bite! I was fortunate to take this great buck last Friday on the Bab. It was a tough year but there were some great bucks out there. This was the last night of my 14 day hunt.

For all the belly achers, I’m glad JJ spent all that money on hunting/conservation ! He could have donated it to the Biden/ Harris campaign, BLM or Defund the Police of America... Now that would be something to complain about !!

All this nitpicking yet no one has expressed sympathy for the mule JJ was riding. 🙄

Simplified: JJ had a tag. A3 has a license. Elk shot on state permitted ground. Valid hunt. Beautiful bull. We got to live it vicariously. We paid nothing. Congratulations JJ! Thanks for sharing!

This is a 2007 Gravely Trailers utility trailer. Deck dimensions are 12'x77". I've owned it for 4 years and added the front tool box (lock is broken), heavy duty D-rings in all four corners, spare tire mount, LED lights and reinforced the ramp gate so your side by side tires are directly over a structural member when loading/unloading. The spare has never been on the ground and the other two tires will need to be replaced before this season is over. I dang near threw up one night in North Dakota. The tree was swaying so much that I started to get Sea sickness. haha. Wild ride for sure, but I have complete confidence in them staying on the tree.
