If you heard a whirring noise, that was probably the bearings trying to sieze. Not good at all.

I haven’t had anyone touch my car’s oil pan in 15 years. I just don’t trust anyone. Especially WalMart or express places.

Drain it, burn it up fill it back full of oil and get a new engine. That would really suck though.

I picked up this uppper from DUG last month. It is now a fun toy. Shoots great. 1 hour of angle.

I understand but if you truck takes 7qts. If you fill it with 5qts it off the stick. But not empty. I deal with internal engine failures for a living. You would not drive 4 miles with zero oil.

It’s hard to imagine making it 4 miles with out any oil you can be off the stick and still have some oil obviously not enough Run it for a few days and get it oil sample done it will tell if you have any wear metal if you have internal damage you will continue to generate debris How much oil did your lot lizard add?

I’m surprised it drove 3-4 miles with no oil and no oil light coming on. You can bitch and complain your way up the management ladder and get some free stuff if you wanna go that route, works for some. Or just keep a record of it for the future. Toyota’s have tough engines. Had a corolla that burned oil so fast that it got a quart every tank of gas (every 3 days) oil light would come on after 2 quarts low but it only held 4. So glad when I totaled that car!

last year it was DDDDRRRRRYYYYYY as in dust bowl dry. Only a couple of the deeper/bigger tanks had water. Looking a ittle similar this year. This weekend up in Strawberry it went stone cold quiet as soon as all the people came out for the weekend. I wouldn't gauge activity based on this weekend. But mine is a very small sample so hard to say.

He was able to pick his group for the semester and surprisingly enough ended up with 3 pretty little girls as his group mates.🤣 For their big project for the semester, they are supposed to become "entrepreneurs" and, as a group, make the money possible through any number of businesses. Last week they sold doughnuts in the parking lot before school. Stuff like that. Fortunately for his group, my son already has his own legit business that they are allowed to use. So his euro mount business will now not only contribute to his pocket book, but also his grade. Speaking of which, he updated his FAQs and pricing for this season for any interested. The only pricing change for this season is a small increase to javelina and large predators.

My apologies for not reporting sooner a friend of mine told me this post was getting activity again. I had an amazing hunt and 23N was EVERYTHING I had hoped/heard it was. Even the slow days could not compare to a good day in any other unit I have been in September for overall rut activity. I killed my bull on day 10 in the rain in the middle of an absolute rut fest where there had to have been 100 cows divided amongst 5-6 herd bulls with multiple satellite bulls harassing each herd. My bull rough scored 340" with a G1 and G5 broken at the main beam.

For all the belly achers, I’m glad JJ spent all that money on hunting/conservation ! He could have donated it to the Biden/ Harris campaign, BLM or Defund the Police of America... Now that would be something to complain about !!

Got my oil changed in my Tundra today at Right Toyota. I have a 100k Toyota warranty so always have them do it. 72000 miles. I drive back 15 minutes to my shop and hear a slight whirring sound. Get in it to go home and look at the oil guage and it is on zero. Check the oil and not one drop of oil. They say they will stand behind it if anything goes wrong. Had a lot lizard drive over and fill it with oil. How would you handle that. I wonder how much internal damage could have happened running it 3-4 miles dry.

In my limited experience that’s the usual for 4B getting going a bit later...they’re probably bugling across the highway in the next unit though.

Havnt settled on that one yet. Settled on the one from 4 years ago. Totally different situation where I was a sub Contractor there working in the garden area . Early in the morning before they opened a drunk came flying threw the parking lot cutting the corner . And hit me . Then my Dad passed away . And the day after his services my Wife And Daughter and 2 Grandchildren Wrecked and where taken from me. Then in march of this year another home depot accident. The forklift to the face. Been some ruff times for sure and as a result Ive lost my temper and made a butt of myself or others on here. I'm better then that. So now it's time to enjoy life for what it is . Every damb day is a blessing. Without it tomorrow morning we wouldn't be able to read no bull dumb butt post. I finally came to the conclusion that Nobull thinks like a roll of toilet paper. He thinks no one can live without him. And that people cant get enough of him. But the truth is Hes still full of shoot at the end. So next time your wiping your butt . Yell out a big hello to Nobullshit.

Go shoot it. If it shoots, that is all that matters, but now you will always have that in your mind. One of the best arguments why NOT to buy a bore scope. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
